I think we have a winner!

I also really like those sloped vent pieces. Those are going to make for some very nice accent pieces in the near future.

It's a shame that Exo-Force's story is so super-simplistic and underdeveloped, because it would be interesting to learn of the evil Robot's reactions to the new Exo-Froce transforming weapon robots, or if they might even be overhauled robot prisoners or something

do they change artist or what? The faces on the box looks different from the old sets.

I like the new pieces especially the green pieces. It really a good piece to build your battle machine.

I initially planned to skip this new wave of EF, since the mecha don't look so good to me :-/ . But I'll be waiting for this review, and I may go for this set. Like Sinner said, I didn't know the tank had two separate units. I find that the detatchable fighter adds a lot to this set *y*

i was at the lego stores in bridgewater, nj and they have the 08 EF sets. $15 and $8 for the small ones.

the boxes are more gimicky this year. the mech is a cutout, and another cardboard is placed inside the box beneath the mech. the human sets are hedious. combo human sets are even more hedious. the robots combo looks way better. there's a scorpion mech you can form using the $8 and the $15 robot sets.

i also saw the GITD racers sets. didn't see the price tag unfortunately. :-P no new castle or city sets though. :-/ and no hoth set and no infiltrator set. :-/

The tank looks like quite a good large parts pack to me, it has many pieces I do not have! Mind you, almost of of my spares collection is from the nineties.

nope, didn't buy any. EF is out of my radar totally. unless they start making better quality stuff than the gimicky monstrosity...i'm steering far away from it. :-P

Wow, this was already a must-buy for me (mainly because I don't have a keiken and I want that torso =P), but now I MUST have this set. The seperation of the top from the rest of the tank actually makes it look much better, and the mini bot looks SWEET! Thanks Hinckley...lucky...=P

Also, (sorry for the off-topic-ness) to everyone who has seen '08 sets...I know how unpopular with some of you Bionicle is, but did any of you see ANY of the winter '08 line of them? I'm curious because soon I'll be on my hunt for them, and if they're showing up anywhere else they're probably somewhere near me ^.^
