Once again Apache, great pics! I love the angles you take, and the way you make it look as if we're right in the action! I especially like your second and fifth pics *wub*

Last moments of a rich man

IMG_2214.jpg

Thanks Tinypies, I had the day off so I was able to get out to my spot and snag some pictures before the light faded. This was the last shot of the day and probably my favorite. Enjoy.

Absolutely great! The contrast of smooth bright plastic and rough natural stone taken just the right lighting gives it an otherworldly look, and yet it seems like it fits perfectly. A few pictures, no dialogue, yet a complete story told.

Great job! *y*

Very great pictures, Apache! *y*

I almost forgot how much fun it is to arrange and play with stuff outside.... Hmm.... 8-|

I'm glad you all enjoy the pics as well as how they are inspiring some of you to get those legos back outside. I finished shooting up the miner and Apache with the sun still in the sky, so I had a bit of a wait untill the sun was just right. I'll be posting more the next time I can get out there.

Thanks again for the compliments.

These are very cool Apache! The lighting is lovely, and I think you have picked a great location for your pictures. The picture quality is also great... what type of camera do you use?

A man, his legos, and a camera, what more could somebody ask for. These scenes are wonderful. Gathering ore and last moments of a rich man are the best.

Wondeful photography! Wow, I'm really amazed! The use of real physical landscape worked really really well! Now I'm inspired! I must just want to go outdoors to photograph too! The last angle of the apache is really great too, nice work!

Thank you, thank you. It is very encouraging to hear how many of you like these shots, it makes me want to take more. I was setting up a scene this morning but the wind kept blowing the figures off of the cliff, so I will have to shoot another day.
