Stauder Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Great Job Man! You should make instructions for these... (I belive you might be interviewed for this :-) ) Stauder Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 16, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 16, 2007 I have to admit that this is a very complex little thing. Never have I seen legs used like in his MOC. Very creative design *wub* Quote
LuxorV Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Very nice MOC *wub* *y* It must be very expencive, too, if it's made of 100$ notes X-D . You always surprise me with the use of minifig parts in most original ways X-O Keep up the good work! LuxorV Quote
Sir Dillon Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I really like this one. :-) I'm impressed with what a complicated shape you've created in such a small creation... that it can fit a figure is quite impressive too... do you have to take apart the plane to fit him in? I like the use of minifig legs, but am not very fond of the color... have you tried going with just plain green? I don't like those money tiles. :-/ Do you have them in green with no printing, or maybe green grill tiles? (I'm not sure if those even exist, but if they do I think it would look good.) If not, I think it might look better with them completely removed. It's a neat idea, but I don't like it in this particular creation. Quote
iamded Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Awesome! I love how these can be so detailed, and so small, yet still fit a fig! *y* *y* Great job! ~Peace Quote
SirNadroj Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I don't like the $100 bills! :-P ;-) But the rest is good. Nice use of the minifugre legs. I also don't like the cockpit windows you use, but that is my personal preference. But you've got a lot of nice detail in there! Good job. *y* Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I concur! This is an excellent use of the bills! 10/10. *y* *y* Quote
Sir Dillon Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I also don't like the cockpit windows you use Is there any windshields you think would look better, yet fit in that area? I can't really think of any... although something like [this] in trans black might look good. Quote

I can't really think of any... although something like [this] in trans black might look good. I'm not sure, I don't really build in this genere much. I'm sure there's something else to use. That element in trans-black may look good if you put it on right. ;-) I'm not sure if this neat ship is minifigure scale or not. If it is, that's why I don't like it. You can't really fit a minifigure in it. If it's microscale, then it looks fine! *y* Quote

All of my minifigure scale vehicles are able to fit figs inside of them. -Chuck Quote

Asuka Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 A very cool looking fighter, especially with all that nice weaponry mounted. Smooth work! *y* Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 i've noticed this in some of your other mocs but ,are obseesed with the color green? :-D X-D but do not wory I *wub* the golor green :-$ :'-) Quote
MicVash Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 Complex, sophisticated, beautiful, this is a really great fighter! I would love to see you make a fleet of these machines, they're too glorious to just have one. Quote

And we must've missed the part where you told us it was... Quote
Hinckley Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 -Chuck Really? :-D :-D :-D I hope his landing gear never malfunctions. That would certainly chap his hide! Quote
Siegfried Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 -Chuck While I do think this is a cool looking construction, it seems to me you are just trying to prove a point. As the old saying goes "If my grandmother had wheels she'd be a wagon". In other words, I don't think just jamming a minifig in a MOC makes it mini-fig scaled. Reasonable access is needed as well. There is no way that he can get in or out with the fighter staying in one piece. Additionally, it adds new meaning to the term "balls of steel"... 8- Quote

Siegfried Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 All my MOCs fit figs, and its a rule I have for Minifig scaled MOCs. Since when are there rules like that for minifig scaled MOCs? It fit a fig from the get-go, and if I say its fig scaled, then it is fig scaled.-Chuck No, there are no MOCing rules. One does what they want. But if I was flying faster than the speed of sound I would want my better protection for my botty than that. You felt that the fighter needed a windshield to protect the pilots head and/or for streamlining, why doesn't the same rule apply to the rest of the fighter? Poor guy can't even sit down... :'-( Ever tried suspending your legs in that position for more than a minute? His abs must be incredible! Quote

You sound a little defensive there, though. No need to take yourself so seriously. Sinner is just expressing his opinion about your MOC. He's not attacking you. I actually agree with him. You seem to go for a good level of detail and realism and your MOCs are always nice. But the way the mini-fig fits in here isn't realistic, IMO. He looks like he's in pain, actually. :-D Sinner, you'd be surprised how little that saying is used here in the states, but I'm glad to hear it and will certainly try to spread it's use here... Quote
Asuka Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 The way the MF fits in is just soo sweet, thank you very much for that fine picture, Chuck! :'-) *y* And who knows, if the pilot eats enough chili con carne he could also become part of the weaponry.... or a human afterburner perhaps.... :-D Quote
