The sound of musket fire rang in Rick's ears!

"Repel those boarders!" he yelled, swinging his musket at the pirate forces of Captain Goldhook.

"Snap out of it. Daydreams won't get those decks scrubbed!"

Rick looked up to see the Captain frowning at him, Vlad lurking sheepishly behind, a smirk on his face.

I like the way you have recreated the same scene with some minor differences for some very dramatic effect.

Should we wish for Rick to be able to live out his daydreams? I am not too convinced he would quite have the skills necessary!

Poor Rick! Looks like it might be a while before his daydreams can come true, but who knows what fate has in store for him? Great use of the same scene for two linked builds, nice minifig placement and great photography.

Neat build Vlad, the forced perspective is excellent, and the idea is great as well! My only comment would be that a mast coming out of the deck somewhere would make it look more like a ship (and as it is the ship would need to ve huge if what is shown is less than half the width of the thing!)

Thanks guys- I had this build vaguely in mind when I was asked to build some geological formations for a magazine article, hence the micros. Was a nice way to challenge myself a bit!
