maiq the liar Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Is this model acceptable? the remake... The train i'm remaking I made this as a remake of a old 12v set from the '80s, and i REALLY want to upload it to the LDD shop, but is this sufficiently differend from the model's base to be accepted? is it so old TLC won't remember it? Lt. Col. Thok Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I must say that you have a very good start. Sure, you need a platform, figs, decals, etc. But overall, nice job. Quote
maiq the liar Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 My question was, would this be rejected from the LDD Shop because it is too similar to a official set? (Albiet one that hasn't been in shops for decades) but... A) i might add a small platform, but my goal here is to keep it in the 70$-80$ frame. B). I may add 1 or 2, but see above. c) decals are in LDD? Quote
FreeBee Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Yes it is, just upload it. ps great job *y* keep on going Quote
maiq the liar Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 Added minifig, and uploaded!! *hopes it makes it without rejection* Quote
highlandcattle Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I would love to see some more details it looks a little plain to me! Quote
Landlubber Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I agree Highland. I've got the original set, and the colours on yours don't really do it for me. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 That looks really old school, cool! I would think about putting some bigger (but modern) fences on the loco's front and back, like these: Old school on!! Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Looks good so far however as HighlandCattle says it is a bit plain.! I think Lego will accept it. Quote
