SuvieD Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 This goes out to Phes mostly because he is the moft fanatical pirate fan I have known. :-D But it could apply to everyone else also if they were interested. See when I was younger I collected Lego regardless of theme and for some time enjoyed the pirate line greatly. However, I decided that collecting multiple themes would be too costly for me so I choose to stick with castle. :D As such, I have some pirate items that I would like to trade for some castle items. Mostly figures, weapons, flags, canons, boat hulls and boat parts. My digital camera is in the shop getting the flash fixed :'( but I expect it this weekend hopefully. I will take pictures and post them so people interested in trading can see what they want. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone was interested. I will check this forum on Sunday when I have some time and post what I am looking for in trade.
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Governor Posted April 22, 2005 Alas I have no castle sets... However the castle sets are very useful for the Pirate theme. Apart from the mini-figures and their accessories most of the castle theme can be used quite nicely with the Pirate theme. That was the beauty of those times... However I managed to get a couple of Castle mini-figures in a large lot of Pirate stuff. The postage costs would make the trade rather unprofitable unfortunately...

I don't have much of any one theme except Castle and some specific parts for Mecha/spaceships. I will take pictures today and post them tomorrow when I get some time. Well, I'd seize ANY opportunity to trade knights for clones, but I am a bit attached to my (rather large) collection of 2x1x5 pillars in light gray.

SuvieD Posted April 25, 2005 Author Posted April 25, 2005 I was not able to take picture of my items last night. :'( I decided on the 7th to completely resort all my Lego. *wacko* :P *sing* *devil* I am not quite done yet. I was able to get the majority of it done last week and I finished my plain bricks and plates last night. I have most of my parts sorted out but I still have a few dozen bags that have no home in my containers. I will be dedicating tonight to getting pictures taken though so I can enter the Mecha contest :-D and also get some pictures of stuff for trade. I will check these boards tonight before I take pictures so if anyone has a request for something please let me know asap. :) It is 11:10am where I am right now so, at around 3:30 or 4pm where I get home I will check for requests and take pictures. I will post the pictures tomorrow. To be fair as far as trading I will trade for the average price on bricklink for parts. If someone wants to make a special deal I am willing to do so also. I would prefer to trade minifig for minifig unless of course either side has no figs of interest. Parts that I would like to trade for are: Minifigures of course. Pretty much any castle figure from any year but forestmen (if they have the proper hat), wolfpack and ninja are my favorite. axe door stockade door round door with keyhole gate book in any pattern or color barrel crate or any other caslte weapon, shield, I really like square flags or odd colored wavy ones. I would like some more turquoise parts (like what came in the Rock Raiders sets) in any shape or size. Thank you everyone who is interested. I don't really like selling my parts off when I can trade for other parts I want to people who would like to get them. As this is not a sale anyone who wants to trade from overseas will have any packages marked as a gift for customs. I am excited, I have little use for my non-castle figures, so getting parts or figs for stuff I don't want is very nice. ;)

Here is a link trade As far as the new clones I only have the red one that comes with the walker. Point to note (I wouldn't want anyone to think these were in perfect condition) Most of the non-pirate stuff is new only sorted/ used excellent condition. Anything that says used is very used. I got much of my pirate stuff from garage sales or ebay. most of the pirate figures are in used but good condition. The pictures turned out fairly well so you can see any damage. The Col. legs will be replaced with better ones. I had no idea they got chewed on. *sick* eww! The canon with no base has a base but it is broken. If anyone wants the canon with it let me know. han does have two diffwerent color hair pieces, I switched one so I could have the new color hair. There are 34 of each of the brown guns. 20 or so Boba fetts. 100 customs "fett" soldiers. 50 explorer and martian figures. I also have 50 of the set 1185 that they come from and I am willing to trade those as well. The heads are stacked by facial pattern except the light pinkish ones. I have pinkish hands to match but no orangy/tan hands or brown. The vampire has no hair. The shooting are spring loaded. The red canons are decorative ones. Let me know what you would like to trade. Please PM any proposals and if they are accepted I will remove the brickshelf picture and/or note what is no longer available. Thanks -Dan

I traded my AotC troopers for some other castle guys with a friend of mine. :$ Chances are I won't get ony more of the starwars sets unless they go on clearance (which won't be for another year probably). :'( Is your only interest SW or did you see something else you liked? If you like the mecha I posted in my brickshelf file I have 10 of those. Would you want to trade for one of them? I will sell them as soon as the instructions are done. *wacko* Mister Phes surely you have something to trade that is not Piratey. ;) suvieD

The Middleman Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Update: since a few people seem interested in the sets/figures/pieces I have to offer, I'll just say, I'm mainly in the market for Revenge of the Sith sets - however, once LEGO Vikings are released, I will be MORE than happy to trade for Viking sets and figures, and I will be looking for quite a few of them as well.
