highlandcattle Posted November 11, 2007 Author Posted November 11, 2007 I think he means 7245. *sweet* Indeed! Sometimes I think I'm a bit dislectic Quote
Brick Miner Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 i think it's strange that LEGO would alter an existing product like that... does this mean that this police set will not be discontinued and will become part of the 2008 line ??? are there any pictures ??? - BM Quote

The stickers (and the box art) changed to reflect the current drivers. Quote
casewindu Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 (edited) I find it odd that they changed this set and not the small police car set seeing as people would preferably buy that set multiple times. Edited November 11, 2007 by casewindu Quote
Darth_Legois Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 YAY FOR BLUE STICKERS! I want this set! (again) Blue Police Stickers ON!!!!! *y* Quote
Brick Miner Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 I find it odd that they changed this set and not the small police car set seeing as people would preferably buy that set multiple times.yes, that is what makes me believe this set, and only this set, will continue to be sold along side the 2008 line, while the other 2005 police sets will retire.if not, then this is really interesting - BM Quote
highlandcattle Posted November 12, 2007 Author Posted November 12, 2007 Maybe the new shipments of the small car simply haven't come in yet Quote
Darth_Legois Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Well the 08 Police Car is diffrent to the 05 one thats probable why they wouldnt do blue stickers for it... :-| Quote
RupeeClock Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Well as you can see in the avatar from Darth_Legois_619 ... ... the new police cars will get blue stickers. - RupeeClock Quote
Brick Miner Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Maybe the new shipments of the small car simply haven't come in yetyes, that could be it.you know, if that is true - that these two small sets are being integrated into the 2008 line, then i guess we wont see any new solo police truck or car sets for 2008. it's interesting that LEGO wouldn't choose to make all new sets for the 2008 line. maybe they are just coming later, and the old re-stickered sets are place holders. - BM Quote

Do you mean change the 05 or 08 car? :-$ 8-| Edited November 12, 2007 by Darth_Legois_619 Quote
maiq the liar Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Or they're trying to make the 2 police iterations more compatible? Quote
RupeeClock Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Or they're trying to make the 2 police iterations more compatible? Okay but if i buy a police car i will have blue ones and black ones and i don't think that's looking nice for a city, tho? - RupeeClock Quote
Holodoc Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I wonder if they will continue 7235 with blue stickers as well? HC, do you have pics of the 05-line with blue stickers? Quote
The Cobra Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I know this topic is nearly one year old, but I'd like to have an answer to Holodoc's question. I've only seen pics from the Lego site with the blue stickers on the 7235 bike, but no "actual" photo. Quote
The Cobra Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 replying in a new post so that topic may become visible for those who want to know: this picture seems to answer the question (found on brickshelf, not a pic of mine). Quote
brickzone Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 One of the local shops here (Art and Hobby) got a truckload of sets in the last week or so for the Christmas shopping - including a whole bunch of the old police motorbikes with blue stickers. I can't really decide whether I prefer the blue or black. The black is a bit plain and stark, but the blue is not a shade that I like that much (primary colour blue). In any case, I have both, having bought the original black sticker versions of the car and motorbike, but the new police sets with blue stickers. Quote
BlueBard Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Well, I bought a 7245 set some months ago in Madrid and all the stickers were blue with the english/german pattern (even in the box!). And I bought a Police car the last month in Paris and the stickers were also blue. (In fact I never noticed they were normally black... ) so I suppose at least in these two countries it's nothing new... Quote
