Forresto Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 So, if you won't let us good SHIELD members arrest you for obvious criminal behavior, aren't you then an obvious Hydra scummo? Hmmmm??? A bit quick to accuse someone of something so horrendous arent you? The man may be drunk but that doesnt make a bad guy...just an intoxicated one
JackJonespaw Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 A bit quick to accuse someone of something so horrendous arent you? The man may be drunk but that doesnt make a bad guy...just an intoxicated one And looks like a man who is attempting to "hedge" away at my time-honored business. We shall not fall so easy!
Forresto Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 And looks like a man who is attempting to "hedge" away at my time-honored business. We shall not fall so easy! That is a fair point. Don't mess with his meats or you'll get a knuckle sandwich, at a non competitive price of course
mediumsnowman Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 Sorry for the delay - today was unexpectedly busy and my iPhone 5S professional camera died and I had to coax it back to life. Pictures are uploaded to Flickr and Day 1 should be up momentarily.
Comrade Commander Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Per my charachter's thoughts in game, do we need a simple majority (+1) to lynch [as it says in the rules] or a super majority (9) [as it says in the vote tally post? Since people could split votes a number of ways we may not reach 9, so my thoughts would be a simple majority but I wanted to clairfy

Since people could split votes a number of ways we may not reach 9, so my thoughts would be a simple majority but I wanted to clairfy I cant speak for our boss but I imagine its meant for a majority of 9. Not reaching that majority may be part of the point as it would require lynching someone to be an agreed upon measure. Also if it wasnt at least 9 I would complain a penalization of 4 votes is a bit unfair for a silly mistake.

Since people could split votes a number of ways we may not reach 9, so my thoughts would be a simple majority but I wanted to clairfy 8 is 50% of 16, so to get over 8, 9 is the required majority. If we had 15, the majority required would be 8. So it's a simple majority. I think. I have to round up when there is an even amount of players left. I think this answers your question?

I have to round up when there is an even amount of players left. I think this answers your question? I do believe 9 would be considered a super majority. A simple majority would be if the most votes anyone got were, say, 6 and they were lynched as the leading vote getter.

If it were simple majority it would say "player with the most votes is lynched" in the rules, not "a majority is required to lynch." The only game I've seen with simple majority then is Dragonfire's Kingdoms Mafia.

jluck Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 But it's a majority required in this though right? Not player with the most votes? Ya, it is.
Comrade Commander Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 So if we are required to get nine votes for a lynch this round, what happens if no player hits that mark then? In theory everyone could vote for someone different with Junior Shark then having 5 as the simple majority and everyone else 1 vote.

I can't say for the host, but based on other games and other hosts (myself included) there would just be no vote. DF's game was an exception to that rule.

Comrade Commander Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I am not sure I necessarily agree with that decision as I think it can play into the hands of the scum later into the game when we start to match the numbers of the scum and they can then sway the game their way more, but I will respect your decision and play accordingly. Thanks for the clarification!
