Actor Builder Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Looks really good. I'm going to say a few nitpicky things because I'm a huge fan of Indiana Jones, but it really is good right now. I think that the back could be curved a little more, but I really like the use of Light Bluish Gray instead of Tan. I think the wheels should be the one-stud wide kind. This would also make it easier to attach the extra wheels. Although, come to think of it, I don't know if there are tires that thickness that come in a one-stud size... The hood should be straight, and not have the SNOT slope technique, but should be a tad bit slanted to a point on the top. All that said, it is very good. Much better than the version that came in the set. When I eventually get to work on this truck, it'll take me a long time to get everything how I want it for my perfectionist self. I've been working on the black car in that chase sequence for about two months now. I just can't get the back right. Good work! Quote
Tariq j Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 It's always pleasing to see Indiana Jones MOC's popping up. I think your version is great . The attention to detail is superb and I think the photos compliment the MOC even better. Quote
r5-j2 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) I love this!...I got a mint Indy minifig as a surprise "secret Santa" present from a work-mate at Christmas,- he`s been lying in my spares box. But now I`m going to have to do something with him. Whatever it is ,it won`t come close to what you have done, it`s a brilliant build and the photos are superb! I don't know what do you mean with with the back curved. I'm using as a model the Hasbro version released in 2008 and it's straight. The hood should be straight, yes. But not totally straight. Maybe the roof tiles 1x2x3 have too much angle, but I think they are right. In another part, if I build a straight hood, I could put the spare wheels. I will work on it. And yes, I wanted one stud wide wheels, but I didn't found wheels in that size. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I like that you included the roof rack. That's an easily overlooked detail. Quote

I made my post, then realized I was wrong about the back, then I was too lazy to change my reply. The back is great. You did well. Sorry about that. Quote
