I was recently moving my all my LEGO sets that are on my shelf off to clean them and then I realized I do not like my Shadow Crawler one bit.

Could somebody either give me a link to some alt. instructions or give me an idea of what to make from it? Thanks,

I'd suggest using the leg armor for use on a space fighter...or as particle cannons, massive weaponry for a mech or tank or even space fighter...or use them for jet boosters on a mech.

I still like mine, but I already consider it spare parts. I leave Harry Potter in the torture bubble because he deserves it! >:-) My advice is similar to MicVash; use it with another set. However, I did find this..

...which is made from 8104. I recomend you do a Brickshelf search and see what else you can find. *sweet*

I've tried brickshelf I just can't seem to find alternate instructions for it.

Well you asked for instructions or an idea! I went for the easy option and gave you an idea! How about this 8104 and 8105 combiner?

Simply make your own instructions. Creativity and Ingenuity are key in Mech building.

Personally I think thats the key to ANY building *sweet*

I was about to say the exact same thing. I find shadow crawler generally isnt a very good set, for parts or otherwise.

Very true, true indeed. It just so happens that most of the things I build are Mechs! :-P

Another reason why I dislike Exo-Force, too many wierd pieces. Although...doesn't that call for Creativity and Ingenuity?

I guess that would depend peice per peice, it can either inhibit creativity by not having any other functions or being an almost unusable peice, or you can get more ingenuity to find a use for the socalled unusable.

Personally I find them to be more inhibiting, some of them are just abit too odd to be usable in many of the original style legos - this is why I always comment on your original joints, none of those round clicky galidor joints

I guess I'll take that as a compliment! Thank you. *sweet* The classic joints are the only ones I'm comfortable with because I've been using them ever since I was a small kid, like 7. Plus I don't really have any of the new "galidor" joints cause the last LEGO set I ever got was so so long ago, I'm talking years, at Christmas. I just buy from BrickLink now. Only recently have I managed to make them work quite well.

It would seem you already found my discovery ;-) :-P

Anyway, if anybody interested, there is an official site for Exo-force 2007 combos here (I seem to remember it has already been discussed, but didn't want to do the search X-D )

Enjoy
