Governor Mister Phes Posted November 8, 2007 Governor Posted November 8, 2007 Perhaps reading the length of the post first might explain a thing or two... I made it clear I wasn't designing whole new figures, merely tailoring the current Armada designs to make them feel more Spanish and frankly I'm satisfied that I've done that. :-P I did read the entire post but in my opinion I don't think it's sufficient to make them uniquely Spanish. As for the comment about Amish... I think that is pretty much just a tad on the slanderish side and more than a little unfair. Slanderish? It seems like you're implying being Amish is a negative thing. It's merely an interpretation of a minimalist image. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 8, 2007 Governor Posted November 8, 2007 Happy about what? I wouldn't recognise them as Spanish unless I was told. I hope Phred is indexing all these great designs you're churning out. Quote

To underline this point of view here's an english pikemen: That does mean grey trousers, breast plate on a green body and the helmet results in an english men. You will find a lot of pictures supporting this for other nations. Andreas Quote

Captain Brownbeard Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 (edited) sorry about misunderstanding that. I dont really think you could use the face for other nations but the conquistador helmet and armour plate could be used for the dutch. the faces could be used for the french and the ones with the moustaches drooping could be used for any nation Edited November 12, 2007 by Captain Brownbeard Quote
