Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 No.If you want to talk about insane auctions, these auctions are truly insane. The person auctioning these Cheetoz is obviously insane, but the people looking at them aren't. These auctions hardly have any bids on them - so there's hope for the world.
Grim Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 The voices of the Cheetoz are impenetrable.... :-D Stupid people!!! maybe if he had looked to the other Cheetoz he would have found Jesus :-D
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 Why would anyone want to buy FOOD just because it resembled something else? I just don't understand... WHO CARES???
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Why would anyone want to buy FOOD just because it resembled something else? I just don't understand... WHO CARES??? Remember that Las Vegas Casino who bought a "virgin Mary" 10 years old already eaten cheese sandwich AND a cane who "had" the ghost spirit of its proprietary ;) In a sense the world has gone totally crazy *wacko*
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 How much did it sell for? A ridiculously large sum of money?
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 How much did it sell for? A ridiculously large sum of money? If I remember corrctly the sandwich sold for more than 10,000$ *wacko* I'll try to find it for you ;)
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 I think I've heard enough! But if the link to the auction still exists you could post that. It would definitely be more insane than the auction I've shared!
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Here are a couple insane examples: Beckham ball 28,000
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 But who checks their toast to see if resembles someone historically signifigant?
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 But who checks their toast to see if resembles someone historically signifigant? I sincerely hope no one *wacko*
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 Obviously someone does as you have provided the evidence.
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Obviously someone does as you have provided the evidence. I guess that its just a stupid trend. Once there is a megablock buying such an item 28,000$ it brings hope to a lot of other megablocks in search of quick money *wacko*
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 But imagine the person who auctioned toast... Winning that much money could have potential psychological effect on them. Every time they make toast they must look at it from all angles and lighting to see if it resembled something.
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 But imagine the person who auctioned toast... Winning that much money could have potential psychological effect on them. Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 Yes, lets all see how many toast images we can create and auction on eBay, then with the profits we can buy more LEGO.
Athos Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Well the sandwich does look like a woman. Not that I know what the virgin mary looks like, but I don't think it looks like her... maybe Marlene Dietrich, perhaps. Steve
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 And now for my molarlistic post of year... With all the famine and poverty in the world how does someone/some organisation have the nerve to spend $28,000 of a slice toast? Its unjustifiable!
xwingyoda Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 And now for my molarlistic post of year...With all the famine and poverty in the world how does someone/some organisation have the nerve to spend $28,000 of a slice toast? Its unjustifiable! Now we're safe for a year :-D :P

Its unjustifiable! Molarlistic? Something to do with teeth? :P And maybe the person who bought it had recently donated millions to charity!
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 22, 2005 Of course they did. It was a casino afterall...
Sarg_Kulo Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 But who checks their toast to see if resembles someone historically signifigant? I always check to see if henry VIII is on mine :P
