Efcostarr Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) Hi there, as a reader of this wonderful forum for years I finally decided to register. I am 37 years old, from Austria and since my childhood addicted to Lego. As my 7 years old son is a huge star wars fan I began to buy a few of these sets recently. My son complained about the size of the microfighters and that they looked ridiculous. :) So today I started to beef up two of our Microfighters:Whats your opinion? Tyutyu Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Greetings Efcostarr, Welcome to to forum. I'm also not a fan of these crushed Lego sets, so I welcome your very nice mods to them. Cheers Quote
Artemis78 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 The Snowspeeder is awesome. Really good minifig scale Quote
Efcostarr Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) Thank you. However the snow speeder looked to bulky.... i remade the front part - now it looks more like the big one from TLG. Also it hast now storage for 2 cargo crates :) Edited January 30, 2016 by Efcostarr Quote
Martini26 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Have you got any LDD file ;) ? It looks awesome! Quote
Efcostarr Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 Sorry, the building instruction ist just in my brain :D Quote
Martini26 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 How many extra pieces you used to build this moc (maybe 2 x snowspeeder)? Quote
Efcostarr Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 I guess around 60 - 80 extra parts from my collection ... Quote
Commander_Rob Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 That Snowspeeder looks great, much closer in scale to the "real" thing. Quote
Jayoheazy Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Not a fan of micros but your's look really well done. I would have much preferred these than the 'midget' sets they made instead Quote
Junior Shark Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I think the snowspeeder is now more accurate than the official, regular-scale set! Nice job. Quote
