macsergey Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Hello. I want to introduce you to the new model: Helicopter Mi-171 (modification MI-8). The model is made to scale minifigures and all its dimensions and proportions as close as possible to this helicopter. I decided to make a civil cargo modification that can be easily completed yet in the passenger version. original photo review model photo in more detail Some functions of the model minifigures in the cockpit I welcome your comments and feedback. dr_spock Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Great job. That cockpit window works well. Should post a warning of way too many photos for those of us with slow internet connections. Quote

Sarles Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Awesome work on this! All of the visual ques I look for in a MI-8 are there and with the glass you put on there for the front windscreen make this classic bird look a lot more modern. Well done all around on this build. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Fantastic build - very detailed and accurate to your source material Quote

ER0L Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Looks great! Nice to see a helicopter here, I'm always wondering why there are so few mocced aircraft and helicopters in the EB Town department ... I especially love those turbine exhausts. The construction of the 5-blade rotor looks quite sophisticated. Nice that it fits two pilots. Could you tell something about the exact scale of this? Quote

ER0L Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Scale is 1:37,5. One pin is real 30sm Thanks! I would have thought it's a bit smaller, like 1:40 or 1:42. But 1:37,5 is a nice scale, also regarding the match with other vehicles. Quote
