Hinckley Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 So, I started selling some custom torsos on my site: Click any pic to go to the store... There are only these three now, but I plan to have more if these sell well. Enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think...
iamded Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 These look nice. *y* *y* Have you ever thought of doing torsos for City civilians? ~Peace
Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Very nice! I like the medieval style of the shirt and the vest.
Asuka Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 A very nice design. *y* And although I like the combination with white, I

Johnny 5 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 well they are nice i dont think 5.00 is too bad
Hinckley Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 well they are nicei dont think 5.00 is too bad I tried to base the price off of the rest of the market. I have some nicer designs, but am having printer problems, so I started with these. I hope to get the better designs posted soon. If these don't move, clearly I'll need to produce better ones or lower the price. Thanks! :-)
Piranha Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 There Nice, I guess........ :-/ However the price is a real killer! Kaminoian is cheaper and offers a much wider selection Just purchased some 501st Clone decals *wub* Great Start though *y* Piranha
Hinckley Posted October 26, 2007 Author Posted October 26, 2007 Thanks Piranha! Kaminoan's are only a buck or two, but I think that's only for the decal. You have to apply it yourself. Maybe I should just sell the decals, but these are the complete torso assembly with the decal applied and sealed. :-)
Wout Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 He, that's nice. Never thought you could also make great serious things. I like the celtic remindings of it. *y* :-)

Hinckley Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 I started selling just the decals and added two new torsos to my shop. Once I get my printer correctly configured I should be able to start offering my colored torsos as well.
Hinckley Posted November 15, 2007 Author Posted November 15, 2007 Excellent work!-A X-O X-O Thanks Armothe! :-$ I really appreciate it! If you have any advice for me, I'd love to hear it. Thanks again! *sweet*

Once I get my printer correctly configured I should be able to start offering my colored torsos as well. I am interested in Female 1 and 2 (must be the breast :-$ )... but how hard are the decals to put on? I had decals for a model once and I think that had water slide style ones and I ruined many of them. :'-( In my defence they were very small...

I had decals for a model once and I think that had water slide style ones and I ruined many of them. :'-( In my defence they were very small... I have large hands and need to use tweezers to apply the decals as not to ruin them. Let me compile some good instructions and I'll post them here. Maybe I'll even make a water slide decal application thread... 8-|
Vader Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I found it best to have a few practise runs before applying my first water slide decal, the first few didn't go to well but over time it gets easier.
