I think this would be a FUN theme to explore officially. I don't mean minifigs as the monsters, but actual BIG monsters, bigger than JW. But that franchise has a lot of fun monsters like Godzilla (of course, Mothra, Ghidorah, etc. Plus how cool would it be to see a Lego Godzilla invade our Lego Cities.

Has anyone else ever thought about this? Has anyone ever MOC'd a Godzilla?

I think that brick built Godzilla might be fun. Knowing LEGO, it'd probably end up as a molded Godzilla, which would end up too small and drive the price way too high.

But it would be cool!

I've seen a lot of micro builds of cities that would work well with smaller molded figures. You could do Godzilla and friends at maybe the same size as a Star Wars TaunTaun.

I have tried a few times to doc a Godzilla, it always gets to the point for me that to do him justice it would need to be at least two feet tall, and several months in the making, which is too much of an investment for me, I love the idea though, and would live to see some mocs.

Yes, exactly. The mini versions just don't do Godzilla justice. He needs to be BIG.

I originally planned on making a Godzilla model that was a few feet tall & making a stop motion with it, but I thought about it a bit more and I don't know if I'll have the time or money for that...

I have seen quite a few brilliant Godzilla MOCs online that are 2-3 feet tall each.
