I finally return to the world of lego!

Hi there,

I've come back to lego after more than twenty years absence. Loved the pirate and space explorations sets as a kid plus I had a kick with my vricks creating my own robots and spaceships.

Like I imagine with a lot of people, the Lego Movie sparked a series of events that eventually have lead me here. I scratched that first itch las year with the Volkwagen 10220. The new Star Wars movie was another push but what really got me here is wanting to share a hobby with my kid. We both build 10220 and are doing it again plus he has his own legos now.

Drooling over a lot of the stuff I'm seeing and hitting my head for not returning sooner. Damn modulars are sweet!! Starting to learn some of the lingo and wraping my head around memorizing so many numbers

Welcome back. I re-found LEGO at the age of 26. A few years later I built a printer.

Same boat as you Turnman!

After childhood I never looked at Legos again. 2 years ago we began getting starter buckets for our children and BOOM! The Lego fever has come home again! I love putting sets together with my children.

A dark age can happen to all of us, but luckily the bricks are still around waiting for us to grab them up and build something awesome.

Ive had some three periods in my life ( Im 42 now ) where i left LEGO for a while, but ive always returned, since we just cant let these little creative bastards alone. Welcome back to you as well !
