Don't take it as a personal offense, just as a chance to improve, but this actually is, well.... quite ugly... if that wasn't for the lightsaber I'd never said that thing was Darth Vader.

I am sure you can do better than this.

I totally agree with Itaria No Shintaku, this hardly looks anything like Darth Vader. The Head is too thin, also why have you used that printed slope on his torso the colours are incorrect to those on his armour plating let alone the wrong design. Maybe take a different approach and make a cube dude similar to this http://blog.gaborit-d.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/cube-dude-les-personnages-celebres-en-lego-d%E2%80%99angus-mclane9.jpg. I am sure you can do better.

Criticisms are the only way you improve so don't forgot this and take it as a compliment rather than an offense. Good luck if you have another go!!!

Thanks for Reading, Ellis

How is this giving a chance to improve?! There's nothing constructive about what you said, it's only insults. Saying something is a chance to improve doesn't make it so. Constructive criticism is specific and gives ideas to improve or advice on what to change. This is very close to abusive behavior so I'd appreciate not seeing it out of you again.

This is much closer to constructive criticism as it is specific and...well, constructive. Maybe could be a little nicer yourself, but definitely a great example of being constructive and not flat–out insulting.

Wow, I really like this! It has a very 60's/70's pop art feel to it. Reminds me of some of those great Polish sci-fi movie posters. An all black figure with that head shape and a red lightsaber is unmistakably Darth Vader. I'd love to see a storm trooper or Chewbacca done in this same style.

I think adding some depth to the head would help. Vader wears a round helmet and as the figure here has some bulk to the torso, it could use bulk to the helmet.

I do like the use of brick types and the overall texture. It does have a very retro, knock-off look; which is not at all a bad thing. With a couple small tweaks, it can be a good representation of Vader.

I like your Darth Vader ! Sure it's pretty uncommon, but it's not ugly. I actually find it kinda cute. Maybe you should remove the Clones troopers, because their "realistic" design doesn't fit with your cartoon Darth Vader.
