DraikNova Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Can you guess what I'm making? I'll give you a hint: it's a real animal... Just a project I decided to work on to test my skill at building non-CCBS action figures. Edited January 17, 2016 by DraikNova Quote
TheDesuComplex Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Let me guess. A DInosaurs-esque model of an aquatic Dinosaur-related-reptile such as Plesiosaur or a Mosasaur? Heck, you could even make a 'Nessie'. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 Nope, and nope . Here's another hint: it has more fins than shown, but it can walk. Quote
Bigger Fish Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) It's a mudskipper, isn't it? Edited January 8, 2016 by Bigger Fish Quote
DraikNova Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) Close! It's an epaulette shark, another kind of fish capable of walking. Here's my current progress: A closer look at the tail. Any ideas on how to improve this? An alternate build for the tail. Currently, I'm trying to build the head, but I'm having trouble figuring out a way to make the eyes expressive while keeping them reasonably in-scale. If LDD had it, I would use the round 2x2 jumper plate and add a mixel eye, but since it doesn't, I'm going to need to come up with an alternative. Any ideas? Edited January 9, 2016 by DraikNova Quote
