YodasMaster Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm noticing a large inconsistency with the shade of light gray in my Ghostbusters Firehouse. I'm through bag 3 so far and 15-20 pieces are a much darker shade of light gray then the rest. Is anyone else having this issue? I've done quite a few Lego sets in my time and this is a first. My Death Star is perfectly consistent throughout and that set is mostly made up of light gray. Quote
strangely Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I've had this happen a few times. A few years back I bought a Naboo Starfigther and the yellow portion of the ship looked pretty bad as the shade varied between many of the pieces. Granted when I bought the latest version of the same ship that problem was gone. I've always thought that the variance was a result of the parts being made during different production runs. Quote
KCMatze Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Maybe, but buying a 350€ set this should absolutely not happen. I would feel a bit p*sed, too. Quote
sander1992 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Not that long ago, I saw at an event a Mini Cooper with 3 different shades of dark green. That looked terrible. Quote

Why not donate them to hospitals/poor people etc? I understand they won´t sell them with discount but it can`t be that hard to find a proper solution both for sick/poor people and our enviroment. Shame on you Lego. Quote

Welcome to 21st century where needlessly sophisticated tax laws and regulations created to "protect the society" actually hurt people and waste lots of useful stuff. I'd be more than happy to rummage through those boxes... Quote
