TheFrisian Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Scaning the web last night i came across moc pages website (i had never been on it before) and there i found someone calling himself mutley 777. Looking through his pictures was a bit alarming as he had taken loads of my pictures from my brickshelf gallery and called them his own >:-( . I joined the site and left feedback for one of my MOCs calling him a thief! Any ideas what action i can take against him on the site? He does have a few pictures that are not mine but i would guess that they are not his either! I don't know if it's going to make a difference, but I too left a message stating my disapproval. Stealing other peoples creations and claiming them as your own is something not done in my opinion, and you have my full support in setting the matter straight. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly. Quote

I once had a comment "great idea, ..." with a 1/5 rating *wacko*yes, all my creations (before deleting them) had reviews like "this MOC is fantasic !!!" followed by 1 or 2 stars :'-( it's really a shame that is happens. i want to think this is not the fault of sean kenny, but if he wants to have a successful site, he is going to have to promote a more positive and mature atmosphere.- BM Quote

You don't see spamming like that (usually ;-) ) here at EB because it's 18+, a dn the people younger are 100% mature. I bet those losers just post 1/5 stars for the hell of it. Not to brag, but my MOCs on there are a lot better than others I've seen, but I still get bad ratings sometimes. (Not to brag, or anything; just posting my opinon! ;-) ) I'll continue to use it as a back-up because you can never have enough back-ups. I'll probably redo my whole brickshelh and update soon when I have spare time, becuase I haven't updated in months! But again, flcikr all the way! *y* Let us know what happens! ;-) Quote

I wrote a review, sort of! ;-) And it's weird because I've never reviewed anyone's creations, but it says I reveiwed my own with the name 'jordan box'. Really freaky, I don't know who that is, but I may have been hacked, I don't know. Has that happened to anyone here? 8-| MOCpages just does that so you can use a fake identity instead of using your real name. I wrote a review as well. He deserves what he is getting. Quote
