Brother Steven Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Perched in the depths of the greenwood is one of the many outposts of the fearsome foresters. Always in need of a safe place to stash their bountiful loot, the belly of the great hickory on which their domicle rests is the ideal location for a great cache of gold. Built for the CCC, (Small misc). I've been very busy lately, but I did manage to get this done for one of my favorite contests. Might have more later but we'll see. ;) Enjoy! ~Bro Steven. Quote

HawkLord Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 That's basically a perfect tree. And trees are considerably hard to pull off well. Brilliant job! Quote
Sigolf Brimabane Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Beautiful build! I've been wanting to try those chima joints in a tree, and you've now shown that they work great :) Wish I had that much foliage... Quote
Isundir Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Beautiful is indeed the right word for this tree. Quote
Gunman Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Nice tree there mate. The lil tree outpost is a great touch,,, Quote
Captain Dee Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 That is a beautiful tree. The hideout is nice too, and I'm.glad to see the classic Forestmen so prominently featured. I also like how you used leaf pieces for the vegetation on the ground. I've always liked that technique and when done in a different color than the tree as shown it looks so much better than the grass stems, bamboo pieces etc. Good work. Quote
