TAFOL Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Ever since LEGO came up with Dimensions, my biggest dream would be to have Disney-characters appearing in the game. The "Redesign a set in another theme"-contest at Lowlug.nl finally gave me the chance to use the fullest of my creativity and make up a little set of my own. With the help of Jaaptechnic, who provided me with custom stickers to Westernize Woody's toy tag, I got inspired by the array of multiple mini vehicles the Dimensions-theme has to offer, which resulted in this miniature version of RC. Especially set 71211 gave me the much needed inspiration to get started on this MOC. Here's the story behind this MOC: Go on the adventure of a lifetime with Woody! Yeeha! "There is a snake in my boot." Launch yourself into Andy's bedroom and go on crazy adventures with this Wild West hero! Can you save Bo Peep just in time from the claws of the evil Dr. Porkchop? Use the snake as a grappling hook or as a way to battle enemies and race around in your best buddy RC! Rebuild RC for power-ups and more possibilities! You can view a full set of photos of this MOC on my Brickshelf. And don't forget to like and share this MOC on Facebook. Quote
N_Cat Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 That's a nice representation of RC. I think it might be a tiny bit bigger than the average Dimensions pack, but really close to that scale. Nice job! Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 That's amazing! Just makes me wish this was a thing. Quote
x105Black Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 This is very nice. I'd love to see the alternate builds RC would make! Good job! Quote
KlodsBrik Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Great creation, and i would also love to see Toy Story as a Dimension set. Ive laways loved the movies and i do think this theme could bring great fun to the Dimension game. Also a level pack would be awesome. So many possible scenarios, not to mention the free roam possibilities. Great build and idea ! Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) You did RC perfectly, right down to size! Edited December 17, 2015 by Aegis2000 Quote
TAFOL Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) This is very nice. I'd love to see the alternate builds RC would make! Good job! Thank you very much. Maybe I'll try to build some alternates at a later time as I'm already occupied with another MOC that I want to finish before the contest deadline (December 31st). Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Also a level pack would be awesome. So many possible scenarios, not to mention the free roam possibilities. Great build and idea ! A level pack would be awesome indeed. I can already imagine Buzz with a miniature version of the Pizza Planet truck and Buzz' spaceship. Or maybe with a laser shooter of some kind. I'd love to see LEGO versions of characters that haven't been seen before, such as Bo Peep, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Slinky. Edited December 17, 2015 by TAFOL Quote
milojthatch Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Great job! I too wish DIsney would allow their characters to be part of Dimensions. Too bad DIsney Infinity exists. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Great job! Looks like it would fit right it with the existing lineup, if not for the existence of Disney Infinity. Did you manage to get a blank character tag or did you have to put the custom stickers over the pre-existing designs? Quote
Starscream759 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Ya did a pretty good job there on your fan made Toy Story Fun Pack for Woody there. Apart from RC being a bit too big for a vehicle in Lego Dimensions I have to say well done on this one. But seeing as Toy Story is a part of Pixar and Disney it's not gonna happen plus Woody's already a character for Disney Infinity, hell the Toy Story pack is one of the earliest things to come from that game in particular. TAFOL Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 Did you manage to get a blank character tag or did you have to put the custom stickers over the pre-existing designs? I bought 2 Unikitty fun packs, just to use the character tag of 1 of them for putting the custom stickers on. If you look closely, you can still see the printed cloud-section of the Unikitty character tag. As Toy Story also sometimes uses clouds as part of the movie logo's backdrop, Unikitty's character tag was the perfect part to customize for this MOC. Great job! I too wish DIsney would allow their characters to be part of Dimensions. Too bad DIsney Infinity exists. Thanks. I also don't like Disney not allowing LEGO to use their characters in Dimensions. Hopefully, they'll change their minds in the future. Quote
Krikkit Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I do likethe idea, but with disneys own infinity, I have my, hopefully proven wrong, doubts that dis will let us have their characters in the dimensions. Quote
