Armor preference

At the (indirect :-P ) request of The Frisian, I started this poll about which armor type you would prefer LEGO to produce (edit for Sir Dillon: produce meaning include in future sets :-P ...)

just printed ones altoghetr, or better still maybe post pictures.

while i think the poll makes sense for only those who have both, would it help if we have, say peeron or bricklink, pictures of the two choices? *sweet*

or maybe hinckley can post pics showing the two choices on a MF with the silver visor and on a MF with the grilled helm for everyone to consider?

edit: - hinckley - i think SW4J said that the metallic silver euroarmor was from the dwarf's mine set which you have. can you check if your version of the DM contained the metallic silver armor?

We also now have metallic silver armor. I guess they realized without the printing the pearl looked crappy...

It looks GREAT with the metallic silver visor *wub* Makes for some great Black Falcon Knights...as soon as I get a BF decal to put on the metallic silver armor...

oh oh...hope you don't wreck it with your custom decal. heard a rumor that the silver paint peels off, which is why they printed on pearl silver and not on metallic silver. :-P

look at that thing!!! the grill helm & metallic armor looks fantastic!!! now all we need is a metallic silver standard helmet to go with the metallic silver visor and metallic silver armor. go go metallic silver color!!!

Although I kinda like the printing on the armour (it suits the Knights faction), the pearl silver just looks horribly fake and cheap... so I voted for metallic silver, as it looks so much more solid and realistic.

I'm not a big fan of printed armor, unless there are a lot of variations. And I'm not real fond of the shiny silver stuff either. I'd like to see just regular armor like what used to come in the old sets.
