Looks great, can't wait for the b model.

Could use a bigger bucket, but I figure you are building with what you've got, so I'd say the build is even better.

It looks quite nice, but there are few thing that could be improved.

Engine section has wrong proportions, grill should be higher and bumper should be placed lower:

Bucket is way too small, a larger one could be built from liftarms and panels. Why have you used so much white? Real ones are red, and only white element is the cab.

Maybe his version is part of the exclusive mine loader modding community. After market bumpers, grills, slammed suspension, 60" chrome wheels... It's the hottest ride in the mine.

Very nice!!

I'm starting on a series of underground equipment; continuous miner, face hauler, roof bolter and multi function scoop. Modeling with a height constraint is a challenge. Modelling something 36 feet long and only 30 inches high is fun. If you continue in this vein (no pun intended) drop me a note and we can stay in touch.

Do you have the link to that community :classic:

It's invite-only, and I'm not a member... but I've heard rumors of its existence. It's a very selective club!

Technivor: I should also comment on the MOC to stay on subject. I like the number of functions it has and the build looks very solid, but after reading M_longer's critique, the bucket does seem a bit small. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but maybe this should simply be called "Mine Loader" and then you wouldn't have to make a perfectly-scaled replica of the Sandvik.

much better than the official lego version and as for the bucket being too small - in real life multiple attachments are possible and for this job a small one was needed

I have finished my model on LDD, and I have around 700 pièces. I will start my B-model today after I disassembled my model.

Edit: I have finishe my B-model. I have changed my idea about a sandvik DD2710 for an articulated dump truck but with a flatbed instead of the dump bed.

Sorry for the delay in posting, but here's my B-model is a mining dump truck with a flatbed instead of the skip.
