Toa Killermike: Toa Of Star Trek Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 (edited) Come here, and Talk about Star Trek. I personally consider it the best show ever, my favorite Series is ENTERPRISE. A little fact about Trek, Data said, in the episode "The Battle (TNG:1)" that the USS Stargazer would be taken to a Xendi Starbase. \\// [__]/ Edited October 10, 2007 by Toa Killermike: Toa Of Star Trek Quote
SWMAN Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 You know this is a lego forum, don't you. I think that you will get more discussion on a Star Trek forum. Just saying that I don't think many people will look for ST on this forum. Quote
Asuka Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Hello and welcome, Trekkie! *y* I guess the original Star Trek adventures Quote
SirNadroj Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I have never seen s-t-a-r t r e k. ;-) Big fan of William Shatner, though! *wub* Quote
Hinckley Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 (edited) You know this is a lego forum, don't you. I think that you will get more discussion on a Star Trek forum. Just saying that I don't think many people will look for ST on this forum. However, this is the community forum so it is more than appropriate to talk about here with other LEGO/Star Trek fans... Welcome to Eurobricks Toa Killermike. Feel free to talk about Trek if you like! We're glad to have you. However, I do think this fits better in the Media Forum, so I'll move it there... Trek on!! SirNadroj Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 The only thing about Star Trek is the SNL skit with William Shatner. http://youtube.com/watch?v=MvzN8mGEqSc No offense. :-P Quote
Vader Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I have no problem with Star Trek..... However i do have a problem with people having more than 1 account for no reason. Quote
Brainbox Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 The start date for production on the new film's sort of been pushed forward a bit, so the proposed strikes won't hit as hard. Same with a lot of films it seems. Anyway, the new date is November 7th, I assume that's this year. See a full list here. I have to say, I've never been that bothered by TNG or DS9, and only a little by Eterprise. The best has to be by far TOS. My dad's got Season 1 on DVD, and when it gets back from my uncle who's borrowing it, I'm going to start making my way through it from the beginning. It's funny, my dad only ever seems to watch 'City on the Edge of Forever' which is a classic I have to admit, but the only one to watch? He also can't remember what it's called... Anyway, back to the film for a moment. Hasn't Heroes' Zachary Quinto been cast as Spock? That's interesting, especially considering the part he plays in Heroes, the mysterious Sylar, who's just so different. Apparantly, the film has a December 08 release. I can't wait. Quote
jedikermit Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I love Trek too...I was a huge fan of the Original Series, the TOS Movies, TNG, and DS9, and then I got busy and married and lost track of stuff. Here are some LEGO Minifigs I made about 7 years ago; I took pics with a crappy webcam, so I apologize for the lighting, the fuzziness, and the general horribleness. But you get the idea. STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE 9 ROMULANS BORG And then my sketchbook... (FOR THE MINIFIGS ABOVE) VOYAGER ALIENS VILLAINS (Including Khan, Chang, Sybok, an Andorian, Gorn, Q, Lursa and B'Etor, Kai Winn, and the Founder Chickie) Anyway. Yeah. I'm a Trek fan. I should go back and redo all those now as fleshies...it's been a while since I've played with Trek. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 (edited) A warm welcome to EB's newest Trekkie. I watched the entire next generation series in grade 5. Those were the days..... Edited October 11, 2007 by Lt. Col. Thok Quote
TheFrisian Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I was a huge Star Trek fan when I was younger, probably watched nearly every episode of every series over time. Oddly enough, the rather primitive Original Star Trek is one of my favorites. The interaction between Kirk, Spock and Bones is just superb. I also like Enterprise and Deep Space 9. I used to build microscale Starships out of LEGO, but that's a long time ago. Quote
yellost Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I love the Borg! all of them! And since I've just fallen on the best Borg Cube MOC I've ever seen so far, I have to share it with you :'-) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=277166 His other ships are really cool, too... Resistane is futile ON Quote
CF Mitch Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) Wow, those ships look amazing indeed. (those green bricks could be well used for a Thunderbird 2 :-$ ) I'm quite a fan of Star Trek as well. My favourite being TNG. Don't know why exactly, TOS is too lame and oldfashioned (srry :-$ ) and DS9...I don't really find that interesting. Voyager is okay as well, especially the Doc, and his bickering with Tom Paris when he becomes nurse or something X-D Edited October 13, 2007 by CF WeaZZel Quote

TheFrisian Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Found it! The surface detailing has been done in a smaller scale, giving it (in my opinion) a more 'greebled' appearance. I actually like this a lot and would love to see more Borg ships and structures done in this design style. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/vinunlea...borg-cube-1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/vinunlea...borg-cube-2.jpg Quote

TheFrisian Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I hope the new Star Trek movie is going to be a huge succes, especially since it's an odd numbered movie. You all know about the curse on odd numbered Star Trek movies right? >:-) Quote
Vader Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I find it really interesting that Simon Pegg will be Scotty 8- Quote
