blackdeathgr Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Fantastic inspiration for all the leather parts, be it furs, capes, or hats! Especially new ghost's rags Quote
Jacob Nion Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Glad to see the hustle and bustle of a thriving coastal town such as this. Looking forward to more of the city in the coming weeks. Ha, I bet you will love the next one! I believe the word you meant to use was prohibited, Ambassador Bloodmane has reported a rumor out of Skavenport, told to him by a Nestlands cosmetics trader. It is suggested that Lord Raavage had the ermine destined for his winter coat nailed to his dinner table live each night, so that he could kill them, and eat their flesh, himself. That sounds very believable, indeed. This build is genius. I love Skavenport! Thanks! I'm glad Skavenport has something likable for Nocturnian conditions. The use of Rocket Raccoon's tail is genius. Wow. You made an excellent build as always. It is pleasant to see the daily activities of your citizen. Great job ! I can't wait to see more of Skavenport. This is an awesome build! Great parts use and to see a civilian Nocty build! A great addition to Skavenport, I really like the road and the crooked houses as well! The little gate way looks great too and good work showing different parts of the job! Another excellent build showcasing the city of Skavenport I'm quite impressed with all the different fur processing details you included, and the houses are superb Nice to see Skavenport expanding (fairly quickly at the moment). The tools and furs looks great (though the one hair piece looks maybe a little too human). Keep these coming! Lovely build!! The atmosphere and layout on this moc is really great! You sure have an eye for details! Love the guy sitting down with the legs on each side of the bench! Fantastic inspiration for all the leather parts, be it furs, capes, or hats! Especially new ghost's rags Your mocs are always full of nice details and ingenuos use of pieces that truly brings it to life. From base to roofs is truly an eyecatcher and even without words telling the story the images speak for themselves. Thank you all very much. I'm glad you like the way of depicting the work processes. My goal was indeed to depict the simplified process of producing goods. I definitely will keep that way for future builds. I hope to see others doing the same. I only can say that making a short google search about a specific craft in the middle ages can help very much to get an impression of what the process was like. Awesome work here. The brick & cobblestone ground here is really cool, especially with the busted one. Great detail that. Haha, I just ran out of tiles! thanks :D I love how few different colours you put in this build. The tudor work looks great and the ground and the walls are also nice! Brick on! Thanks! As I wrote in an other thread, I believe that too few colours will become my weakness some day. This is a lovely moc, the part usage is brilliant. The floor though is my fav bit with the gaps between tiles. Only negative is the lock printed piece, dont think it goes with the build. yeah, that didn't came out so good. But I love printed tiles. You are really establishing a great, distinctive style for Skavenport - and as always, your mocs are of an exquisite quality and some very interesting parts use. On top of that, you have depicted a lot of aspects of a trade - which really makes me wonder if you wouldn't be interested in entered the Skavenport fur trade in the "Trades of Historica" task? It seems like this would be perfect for it! Thanks for pointing that out! Didn't thought about it, because this moc was very spontaneously. But I definitely will expand the Skavenport fur and use it for the task. Along with one or two other trades. Quote
