JJ2 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Hello, one of my projects need a 11 stud wide independent front suspension (just the suspension not the wheels) with servo steering but with using only the new~ suspension parts found in the snowmobile. I was wondering if any of you can help me with a design because I am stumped. It is not supposed to be driven. Thank you! Edited October 27, 2015 by JJ2 Quote
JJ2 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Thank you! but that is way to big. Also it is driven, all I need is a small non driven front suspension for a baja. Quote
Erik Leppen Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Can you show what you have tried yourself? Quote
JJ2 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Sure here they are! It is pretty bad it has more bump steer the actual steer and it breaks if a feather hits it. It has a slight positive caster at the wheel hub that keeps the wheels relatively strait during driving. It uses a small cam as the steering rack and the 6L link go on the axle. All picture are on my Bricksafe account HERE if you want to see more. Thanks Quote
A Gallifreyan Cat Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Maybe putting something on the front of those suspension arms would help. Those would probably be pretty wobbly if you're using frictionless pins. Quote
