highlandcattle Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 http://news.lugnet.com/announce/?n=3636 Looks pretty cool , i ordered the print version so now I have to refrain from reading the PDF. Have fun yall Quote
Freddie Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I've read the PDF, so I'm not going to spoil it for you. There's a really neat layout trick demonstrated in it that I am yet to see used in large display layouts. I'm going to see if I can get my fellow LUG-members to use it for the layout we're going to display next year. Other than that I just skimmed through it. I'm not that hardcore of a train-fan, even if my Brickshelf folder suggests otherwise. Quote
Asuka Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 A very nice and interesting train magazine, thank you very much for that link, highlandcattle! *y* Quote

beatnik Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Doh! Sorry. Feel free to close this thread down. I'm a bit hazy at the moment. My first child was born on the same day that we launched Railbricks! -Jeramy Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I had a look through this yesterday, seems very well done, on par with BrickJournal! I especially found the article on the curves made out of straights very interesting. Also the article on that big black locomotive which I cant quite remember the name of right now. All in all, very well done! I hope like BrickJournal you can get exclusives on new stuff, especially the new power functions train line in a couple of years! All the best, and keep up the good work! MatthewUSA Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Thank you Highlandcattle for this information. I can't wait to read the magazine as well. I had a subscription to Model Railroader for the ideas it presented. Model Railroader was very informative as well even for a Lego train layout. But I definitly look forward to what this magazine has to say. Quote
