Actually, the original pitch wasn't the 4 and 10, it was any of the Doctors and any of the companions The creator just used 10 and 4 for image purposes.

Let's face it: they were never going to make it a set that doesn't feature the current Doctor. It wouldn't make sense because it wouldn't tie into the current era.

I know the original pitch was for any doctor but i just preferred the minifigs used even though they were used for photo purposes.

I also see why they did another capaldi it just annoys me a bit is all.

I don't understand why more purported fans don't just want all the Doctors and companions, according to these polls. I can't believe I'm the first to vote for two of Ten's companions.

The polls are to gather which Doctors and Companions fans specifically want because in reality, if LEGO produces any more Doctor Who sets, it may only be one, and LEGO's particular about the number of minifigures included in a set.

Could anyone please help decipher the color of the beams in the Twelfth Doctor's TARDIS? Can't tell whether they're blue or light grey/silver :sceptic:

Lol, I'm currently working on a TARDIS too and was having the same trouble. If you view the TARDIS on google maps the Eleventh Doctor's TARDIS makes them look blue, but the new one makes them look dark bluish grey. So I think I'm going to go with Dark Bluish grey for now.

the ones that go to the ceiling? the sides are plain 'silver' while the insert parts are painted moshy blue on top of the 'silver'

It's pretty good, although it looks a bit too basic IMO.

I assume the is stu a sketch of the basic build, wich would be expanded on with buttosna nd tech stuff etc.

Just got the Dimensions Doctor Who today!!!! OH MY GAAAAWWWWWWDDDDDDD! Can't wait to get home tonight and put up my little project! The actual figure is even more awesome in the flesh (excuse the pun), and all I can say is that years of waiting have FINALLY paid off.... oh my giddy aunt I've been shaking from excitement for the past two hours and keep pinching myself to make sure it's true!!

Just got the Dimensions Doctor Who today!!!! OH MY GAAAAWWWWWWDDDDDDD! Can't wait to get home tonight and put up my little project! The actual figure is even more awesome in the flesh (excuse the pun), and all I can say is that years of waiting have FINALLY paid off.... oh my giddy aunt I've been shaking from excitement for the past two hours and keep pinching myself to make sure it's true!!

I so envy you. And thats the honest truth.

As mentioned i was supposed to have had it yesterday, but the store hadnt got hold of them though it was promised.

And yeah, as you say , years of waiting and pushing for LEGO Doctor Who has finally materialised. Cant wait to hear what your first impression on the Level pack is. :classic:

Actually I forgot to mention something interesting. It seems there was a big delay in shipping to a bunch of stores. Yesterday I called all 3 lego stores in Toronto AND Bestbuy AND EB games, and none of them said that the Dimensions Doctor Who had arrived even though the release was today. Luckily I called Toysrus just in time to confirm that they had some, but only 6, and that it was first-come-first-serve basis. So I arrived at the store early and managed to nab one (couldn't take a second because of limited selection)

Crazy though. Apparently LEGO store said they may not even have them until Friday this week.

*EDIT*: I feel for you man. I wish I could send mine over but between the time it'll take to get to Denmark I'm sure you'll have already gotten one by then. Trust me though, when you've been waiting for LEGO Doctor Who as long as I have, this was NOT something I was going to miss out on. ;)

Yeah, i dont know whats going on with the LEGO Doctor Who set. Release date in Denmark was 2nd ( yesterday ) in one of the Toy store chains. The rest wont be allowed to release till 6th.

They did have all other sets than the Doctor Who, and i called the 3 stores that was close to me. I did manage to get the UniKitty Fun pack, but i was really soooo looking forward for the Doctor Who level pack.

Now since ive been there lots of times, they are gonna call me first thing when they get it ( hopefully tomorrow morning ) . :laugh:

Hehe, i know how long youve been waiting for it .. Read my pm yet ? :wink:

The Dimensions set includes an extra Sonic Screwdriver! Yes! :excited:

Dang it, you got hold of the set also ?

Offcourse there aint any instructions. Its LEGO Dimensions. It have to be build "ingame". And whats sort of weird since its practically the 3rd all over the world by now ( i guess ? ) ... The instructions should be up on LEGO.com.

But they are not !

I had the same problem yesterday when i wanted to build all three variations of the Cloud Cuckoo car for my review, and i didnt want to spend all my studs ingame :laugh:

Ill let you know when the instructions is online if you havent found them before me though :wink:
