Kman860 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Not to get off topic, but i got my 42009 in the mail today. The box was opened, but no missing parts, im fine with that. But i noticed that the instructions are all in one book, how long has it been like that, because i have only even gotten the Volvo Loader's instructions like that before. Nice hope you enjoy it. My instructions are divided though, so that's kind of weird, are you sure the set and instructions are the same? Quote

I think the earlier releases of the set had divided booklets, while the newer ones have a single book Quote

aminnich Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 it doesn't bother me, i am not building the set so ill just keep the instructions and stickers sealed Quote
Freekysch Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 42009 was the first set Technic set that had the instructions in one booklet, but only the latest models of the crane got that, my copy has 6 booklets but I bought it as soon as the set appeared on shelvs. Quote

Andy D Well to add to my original thoughts, another set I would like to get is the crane truck, but it's too expensive for me at this point (600 CAN or over) Quote

rollermonkey Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Wouldn't it be more appropriate to name this "Which sets do you regret not buying?" I missed 8043 and the Unimog, but have since gotten my hands on both through BL. Quote
Kman860 Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 8043 is another one I'd like to get Quote
