XAxles Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Woo! They're re-releasing the Camper Van! Quote
Cwetqo Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I heard that it will stay on sale at least until 2017, same as Tower Bridge (which got new box too). Quote
ARSLOCK Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 anyone know if it has numbered bags now? Quote
dr_sarcophagus Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Not to be a pedant, but the bus's are Type 2. Type 1 are the beetles. Quote
Emmi Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I heard that it will stay on sale at least until 2017, same as Tower Bridge (which got new box too). Any news on the next iconic car yet? No doubt we'll get another one in August. Quote
Emmi Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 They are very popular. 2011 - VW T1 Camper Van 2014 - Mini Cooper 2015 - Ferrari F40 2016 - ? It would only make sense for LEGO to continue this very popular (especially among AFOLs) sub-theme. Quote
Vodnik Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Not to be a pedant, but the bus's are Type 2. Type 1 are the beetles. Yes, but T1 does not mean Type 1. It is VW Transporter T1 (i.e. version/generation 1). Or VW Type 2 T1 if you prefer :) Edited October 1, 2015 by Vodnik Quote
The Fezter Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 The Mini Cooper should also start appearing in a new box soon. The entire Creator Expert line is being rebooted so they fit the same style with the new logo seen on the Ferrari F40. Quote

I drive a Type2 T2 The T is like saying Mark 1 or mark 2. I also have a type 3 and type 4 but they are cars. People that drive type 2 T4's and call them type 4's really bug me Edited October 1, 2015 by Modelmaker Quote
Bug82 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Just finished building this. Was rather enjoyable. Quite liked the challenge of not having numbered bags. Wouldn't mind if more sets were done that way. Quote
