What a beautiful creation. I've seen quite a bit of your work on this forum and you are truly a master at building boats.

.... but I don't know what a OOB set is, please explain.

The big model is 110 studss long(88 cm).

I don't have a picture with a normal LEGO® set, but only with the small set of the Kiss(30 cm long)

The picture with the big and small model is very cool. I'm more fond of the bigger models because the scale allows for better details. This is a real beauty, Edwin.

Totaly agree with that BusterHaus, the bigger scale ships gives you a lot of more details and it's lot more easy to made the hulls.

I was already impressed by the shape, details and building techniques. But now I can figure out how huge it is. Practically it has the same dimension of my ACT, and I can imagine it in my hands...that's simply crazy!!

Hi Edwin

Any chance of any of your models, especially this beauty, coming to either of the Brick2015 shows here in the UK?

At the end of last year i was very honest that the best and biggest shipyard in the world Royal Feadship ask me to build a big model and a set of one of their new build yacht; My Kiss.

The real Kiss is now sailing to Monaco and is nominated for best ship in there class at the Monaco Yacht show 2015(23 to26 september) and mine model is standing with proud on the real one  .

It must me so cool if they ask you to build something like such a boat.

And even more they show the model on the real one. Have you been there or ...

It's a great build and looks very good comparing the real one. Just wauw.

By the way... the other boats looks great too. It's amazing, all those tiny details. You just keep discovering things.

I think I've seen a few of your creations on LegoWorld.

Thanks @neonic,

It's always a great feeling that shipyards and ship owners ask me to build one of there ships and for your question if i have been on the real Kiss is yes.

I have been a serveral times on the real Kiss and with the water launche party, my family and JunkstyleGio where special quest and meet the real owner and was very pleased with his present.

The owner and his kids are great fans of LEGO and that's also the reason that the Yard wanted this model in LEGO.

Many thanks Jim that you change my nickname to my real name  .

The reason i ask Jim to change my nickname to my real name is; that i stopped 2 years ago with active racing and now almost full time building and creating ships and sets with LEGO and the name VFracingteam not fits anymore  .

All the topics are now under the name Edwin Korstanje and mine nickname is still VFracingteam.

Best regards,

Edwin Korstanje
