I definitely need the tower/siege tower and the ship. i think the price of the tower is pretty fair, maybe i'll grab that tomorrow if i see it somewhere in a shop.

ahhH! i can't wait for the new sets to appear in US S@H! or maybe some of you guys will put some of the new sets on ebay?.. i also heard rumors that the troll sets have been showing up at toys r us.. is that true? has anyone confirmed this?

I live in OC, California, and I can at least confirm that I saw the Battle Wheel in the TRU in Fullerton.

Btw since those castle BP's are LL exclusives does that mean they won't be at stores eg target?

After calming down from all the excitement over this awesome chess set, there are 2 things that bug me a little: While all the pieces of this set are different, there are 2 of the same Good Wizard. Why? And why are there skellies on the bad guy side? I thought the knights defeated those in Wave 1. Did they return and fight alongside the orcs & trolls? Or is this some kind of Best Of Castle chess set?

Also, can anyone make out who the king & Queen of the bad guys are? I can spot a black wizard's hat. If it is the evil wizard from Wave 1, that would explain the skellies (although it could still be a Best Of).

About the two bishops of the good guys, I think there weren't too many options. Formaly it should be the same piece... In the Evil faction, there are different colored trolls, but still the same figure. I would have prefered to get a gray and a white wizard.... but that would have been too LOTR, no?????

Yep, I'd have loved that, even if TLC made a green wizard! Anything but two more Impulse sets stuck on a chess board. But I still love the set for its two trolls... This is certainly an army builder! Only you kinda cover all the bases at once.

Skellie BPs and Crownie BPs, and the Impulse sets: A Skellie and a Crownie! And look at the poster on the last page of each instruction manual: It shows a big battle with the Dwarf Mine, the Castle, and the Tower under attack by goblins, trolls, and skeletons. Dwarves and Crownies defend it with their siege equipment! But the skellies have all the stuff they used to have... Carriages, crossbows, and fortifications. No one's been defeated, and that's why I love this line! But unless TLC combines forces and makes a set with dwarves, crownies, goblins, trolls, skeletons, and maybe dragons, this line is done. (But I'm sure Shakar will say otherwise X-D )

Well i really don't think that this can be called an army builder set, even with the trolls it's a very expensive way to build an army. It would be far cheaper to buy the figs etc from Bricklink than do it this way.

I'm not sure that i get your point here, i mean what does it matter if lego dosent show that someones been defeted? SW has been ongoing for a good few years now yet the same old figs are turned out every few years.

Though i do notice that the dark wizard hasn't been seen in some time, so if your looking for defeted bad guys then he's your man.

As for the line being done well i disagree, there's still alot lego could do to expand this fantasy line.

Well it depends what country you are in for a start, for example the US seems to have certain sets, as does the UK but in the UK only offical lego shops.

As for the rest of europe i am not sure.

Fortunately, without thinking, Shakar has transformed TDF into a gungan who actually passed grammar school, so no eesas are necessary. :-P Wait a sec, you'd think Shakar would be gratified to see someone spreading the truth about himself! Right? *wacko* By the way, I said the same thing in the 'Pirates or Romans' thread, so I'm surprised you didn't zap me then and there! X-O

Yes, I agree with you on the prices. I'm just hoping my SAH will get them in as fast as my TRU got the new Castle! :-/

What country, and what store. ;-) New Zealand supposedly gets the Castle sets April-May, but look, they're up on S@H already. And my local Toyworld has stated they expect to get a bunch of new sets in March, but that probably won't be Castle. So we'll just have to wait and see.
