"Jinnipher, I'm on my way." The vampire pulls another remedy out of his pack and uses it on Jinnipher from the back row.

She nods her thanks, but adds, "Well I'm not ungrateful, but shouldn't you be thwacking those scorpions too? With no blood running through your veins to poison, I mean." She winked before charging back into battle.

Terry continues to output a ridiculous amount of damage, icing over three scorpions in one chilling blast. True to Mac's prediction, the rest of the party's fortune nosedives, with the ants Bombarding Jinnipher, the scorpion Cursing Ezeran, and the spider leaving poor Torald completely Bound in webbing, but it seems their bad luck seems to have come to a plateau as they emerge relatively unharmed, with Terry himself now the only one still poisoned.

The battle continues to go slowly, with Jinnipher and Kheyli both missing and Torald too busy ripping through the cobwebs that bound him to actually fight. Terry lets off another spell, but this time its target still lives; nearby, Boris too almost kills an enemy, one of the battle ants barely hanging on for dear life. Poor Ezeran gets another mouthful of scorpion venom, this time in the symbiont's mouth rather than his human one...perhaps the two mouths had made for an easier target? Either way, the unlucky Mage is Cursed once more, while the party's other Mage also clings barely to life.
