Abandoned Mill in the Frontier

Pretty sure this forum is the best fit. I was looking for a fall/Halloween moc idea and decided to use this picture as an inspiration:

Here is the moc so far:

I don't have a red wheel barrow yet so I need to get that. The gray part will be filled with trans blue studs for water. I may builda rusty tractor or something to sit in there.

Nice! A bit to many colors in the landscape of your MOC, IMO, but otherwise, very nice!

^ I think the main problem is the use of Bright ('normal') Green and Lime Green together. They contrast each other more than they complement each other. Bright Green-Earth Green, Bright Green-Olive Green, Olive Green-Lime Green and Olive Green-Earth Green are nicer combinations in general.

I really like the stone base that you made for the house, the flora is great too. Maybe you could add some subtle colors to the roof of the house, resembling fallen leafs. I am looking forward to see your progress!

Looking good! I'd agree with the others - for a Halloween/Fall I'd say it's too bright - Halloween I'd stick to darker tones and the orange/purples you've got, for fall browns/reds and oranges. Having said that it depends on your brick collection - you could still make it bright but atmospheric with any spooky goings on you decide to depict.
