Hi guys,

I have a little project I worked on the last hour as a fun build and I decided I would share this one!

Can someone guess 'who' she is? anyone?

Well, this is Lady. one of the main characters in Thomas And The Magic Railroad. a movie from back in 2000. she runs the 'Magic Railroad'. the bridge between 'shining time station' and 'Sodor'. the two places in the movie. I saw the movie once at TV, I assume I understood nothing because there isn't a Dutch translation but I watched the movie several times on YouTube.

about the model: The model is mostly dark purple and gold and is powered by the standerd PF bogie and if I could build the model it would use BBB medium drivers and golden drivers from Zephyr. sadly due to the gold and purple used in this model I won't see this beauty on my layout... But I could just paint the bricks so maybe...

Here is a picture of how the boiler is connected. I now realize that I forgot a dome, oops. just a simple connection here with a 1x2 'headlight' brick.

A picture of the rear showing the gap where the PF cable would stick out of. little taillight also.

And here a picture of the cab. kinda boring but as this model won't be build I don't see it as a problem.

I hope you guys like the model. Maybe if many people like it I will drop the LXF.

bye

You could do Dark Red for the engine instead of light purple, or maybe even Dark purple. (that isn't too far of a stretch) you'd just need to change the windows to this: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=4035#T=C

Also, as I said on flickr, you might need some Big Ben Bricks wheels to do this, if your don't mind 3rd party parts.

well, I already said that in the text 'about the model'. And about don't mind, I already have 16 BBB wheels...

Do you think there is any way to support the cab roof?

It uses a 2x4 plate under it. You can see it on the third picture. Edited by THERIZE
