Wolf04 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Oh just great more sets coming out just when I am grounded 'cause of not meeting my parents' expectations in school marks. Mwuhahahahaahaaa!!! Just how high are these expectations? well these are mid-term marks and not final marks: French: 83% Computer Engineering: 86% Math: 90% Science: 80% Average: 84.8% I'm in Grade 10 and all the courses are Grade 10 but the Computer Engineering course is a Grade 11 course. My parents expect me to have at least a 90% average but in my whole life, I was never able to reach a 90% average. Quote

The Middleman Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Jeez, Wolf, you need to work on that a bit. My midterms were: Latin - 94 History - 90 Geometry - 93 English - 94 Drama - 93 Science - 98 Of course, I'm grade 9. :-D Quote
Wolf04 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 oooo lemme add....I'm academic..in fact I'm above academic...I'm in the IBT (International Business & Technology) Program....I sooo wish I would be applied....I would be getting 100s sooo easily... It also depends where you live...but I do agree, they are low, I used to have high marks well above 90s until this year...it seems with every year I advance, it gets harder and harder Quote
The Middleman Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 ...it seems with every year I advance, it gets harder and harder Well, imagine that... :P I'm going into International Baccalaureate next year, which is going to be a gigantic mark on my future resume. :-D Quote

I applied at a high school for that program, I got accepted into that too but between IB and IBT, I chose IBT since IB is more for studying languages, while I wanted something to do more with business and computers, plus the IBT program has an extra laptop program, which I got in, which made my dad buy me a laptop. :P Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 21, 2005 Governor Posted April 21, 2005 And where I live if you pass that's good enough... They must be desperate to get people into these accademic kind of things here... Quote

And I already have a laptop, so... Quote
