Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I'm not a fan of the Home Alone house next to the winter village sets as the scale is all wrong and it looks HUGE in comparison. That's the draw back of a real-life setting, rather than a stylised scale that the in-house LEGO themes tend to use.

Break, I agree. The Home Alone is still a combination of Winter Village and Modular Buiding but deifnitley it’s out of scale for sure. 

I’m other hand, I often heard some of us complain about the exisiting Winter Village sets’ scale. I’ve commented that Santa’s Vsiit is too big next to Main Street or Alpine Lodge. I guess no Lego set is perfect but I would appriecate if there is Christmas-themed Modualr Buidling set that can fit into my city nicely, based on the scale. Plus modualr nothing stops have no stickers.

While re-organizing my minifigures from non-licensed CMF stores in my display cabinet, I found a few such as Holiday Elf, Snowman, Nutcracker, Sugar Fairy. I suddenly realized - we havne’t seen those minifigures parts and accesories since 2022.  Elf’s hat+hair piece, nutcracker’s shoko+hair piece, sugar fairy’s candy cane, and snowman’s mask havne’t appeared in Winter Village sets since then. I could not rmemeber if BAM has those ones?

Looks like we're going to have a new winter-themed set that won't quite fit in scale with our Winter Village, but I'm still thrilled that Ideas finally approved a Christmas Vacation Griswold House set.  It seems like that specific house has been submitted in different iterations several times over the years, but it always lost out and I never understood that.  I hope that Ideas puts together a set on the scale of the Home Alone house, and it needs to include all the minifigures you can possible think of as well as the RV and the station wagon with tree on top.  This thing is going to sell like hotcakes!

While not barring about Christmas Vacation grimswald House Ideas set, it looks very nice tho. And I”m so happy that we will get a reindeer fawn - FINALLY!!

I love the City advent set this year.  That's two great years in a row for City advent!  I love not only the fawn, but also all the elves!  Great for our winter villages for sure!

You wonder if we might not see that fawn mold in the WV - either this year or next.  I know it wasn't an official WV set, buy you got four adult reindeer molds in that Santa's sleigh set that was produced for several years.  I believe that set is retired now, but I would imagine that Lego will try to keep some kind of set like that in circulation - it must have sold well.

Hoping the red elf hat & torso will be available via PAB or maybe BAM.   I need more red outfitted Elves.

Film sure fawn reinder will show up in non-WV sets liek City or CMF as a ‘nomral” deer.

I'd really love for lego to make more hair styles with elven ears!
