Dannylonglegs Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) About the Jewel Thief: A lot of people is thiking about Cat Woman but I guess this will be a Pink Panther reference. I guess he will be a vintage fashioned minifigure. Masked guy with curly mustache. A beret, peharps? For his accessory: a huge pink diamond and maybe a new sack. I really really really hope it's not a pink jewel. Buy one Elves set and you'll know why. I've purchased 3... In other news, anyone want a pink jewel? (Just kidding.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited October 24, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote
ilikeboomerang1 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 The earpiece printed in the face reminds me of the 90's minifig heads, where they basically printed everything that they had to print. Even hair! Quote
obsidianheart Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 First post here, hi everyone I think that the 'winged warrior' could be a fighter pilot: We haven't seen one of those specialized crash helmets before in Lego... There's sort of one in the first wave of Ultra Agents. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 So, the 5 females are Queen, Jewel Thief, Tribal Woman, Dancer and Receptionist? (C'mon LEGO! The Dancer has to be a Ballerina! ) Quote

That's an interesting concept. It could be. I really hope it's something that would fit well with medieval fantasy, personally. I'd also think that 'ballerina' would have been translated differently. Not sure what kind of 'dancer' it will be, though. A Black Swan ballerina with the Chicken Suit Guy's wings in black would be cool. Edited October 24, 2015 by x105Black Quote
Yooha Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Still waiting for the right leg of Dr. Rodney Rathbone's from Monster Fighters. Maybe the robot in this series will have it. But his right leg is the robotic one...:S Okay, I get it, POV effect. :) Edited October 24, 2015 by Yooha Quote
MAB Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 What would be wrong with a male dancer? After all, Disco Dude was around long before the Diva. Quote
DungeonsAndFlagons Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I am hoping with the Queen what looks like yellow skin on the torso is not yellow. (I know I am likely doomed) In the world of 'fleshing' Castle minifigs there not that many possible 'Queen/Princess' torsos. It would be nice if LEGO did a Queen/Princess torso with no yellow skin visible..... Quote
Eggyslav Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 It seems that Klutz is gonna have crutches, I wonder how he'll hold them, unless... NEW ARM MOLD? Quote
Sven F Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Pleasantly surprised on the clutz, but that receptionist sounds disappointing, was really hoping for a suited person, old school style. Glad the Queen uses a separate crown so i can use her hair, I use calamity's hair for a prostitute in my town. I still highly doubt her dress is that old basic 2x4 Those crutches have a lot of potential alternative uses. Quote
Kaanere Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 It seems that Klutz is gonna have crutches, I wonder how he'll hold them, unless... NEW ARM MOLD? Or maybe the crutches are dsigned so they can be holded by a MF with normal arms? Quote
x105Black Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Or maybe the crutches are dsigned so they can be holded by a MF with normal arms? That's my guess. Seems far more likely than a new arm mold. Quote
gedren_y Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) As I posted in the Disney CMF thread, the 2x4x2 curved piece hasn't been in sets since 2009. The curved piece looks to have a longer arc than the old piece as well, which would make more sense. Edited October 24, 2015 by gedren_y Quote
K_Tiger Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Expecting this to be the Jewel Thief I wouldn't be disappointed if that proves to be the case. Pretty happy about the Kendo Fighter, too, as I had been mulling over ordering a couple of Ninjago ones and now it looks like I won't need to. Quote

I'm still thinking it is the same old 2 x 4 piece. 2009 wasn't all that long ago. Quote
MAB Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 They will probably copy brickwarriors crutches, with the cut out in the top of the crutch to make it look like they are under arms. Quote
gedren_y Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 For those who say the Wrestling Champion is going to be male, remember this guy. Unless they go with an college/Olympic style wrestler, I am betting on this on being female. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 There are too many figures in this series with genders that could go either way. But for females, the most likely are the Receptionist, Dancer, and Jewel Thief. Macy's dress looks a bit out-of-system, like the front and back of the skirt are offset by 1/2 of a stud. I think that's fine, as it keeps it from looking too flat, but practically, how does it work? Quote

Unless they go with an college/Olympic style wrestler, I am betting on this on being female. I would love a female wrestling champ! Ronda Rousey style! Then I could give her to my childhood friend who actually is a female wrestling champ! Unfortunately I think it's more likely we'll see a male. If we do get a male, I hope it's modeled after Pacman! but again, unlikely. I don't see myself getting this one. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

TheBeefThief Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 'guerrier volant' is translated by Google as 'flying fighter'. This could become my favourite minifigure if it really is a fighter pilot. Quote
telaruhn Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 The Series 1 Wrestler seems more like a luchador. We also got the sumo wrestler in Series 3. There's still more thematic space there to flesh out wrestling styles, regardless of the figure's gender. I just hope for them to have a big gaudy championship belt, whether it's printed on the torso/legs or (preferably) a new mold that slips on the legs like animal tail pieces or cloth skirts. Searching around the Internet for jewel thieves has left me finding a city-styled character. I was hoping for something a little more exotic, but I can see how the city-styled one is more recognizable. It might be cool to have it as a female since she will probably come with a new hairpiece. Maybe the gem she's stealing is a new mold, or the gem is in a new or rarely used transparent color. Quote
kouz-one Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) 'guerrier volant' is translated by Google as 'flying fighter'. This could become my favourite minifigure if it really is a fighter pilot. Guerrier volant only means flying warrior, or the translation was bad since it cames on the french website... Fighter is translate into "combattant", in french. We already had aviators, the one from old times with leather hat and glasses(serie 3 or 4?), and the white one with the cape and hairpiece in costume. I just hope so much that it isn't a pilot.... but a valkyrie or some winged knight Also, evil knight has already been done... So what will this one looks like?
