Had exactly an hour to spare last night so set myself a quick 1 hr challenge to knock up a Home One diorama - mainly as I recently got a Tridax pod (60934) in a bricklink haul. I usually limit my dioramas to two modified 12x12 bricks (part 52040), but due to the layout of the scene, I let myself stray here. I included the little X-wing doing a fly-by just because I happen to have picked up issue 1 of the new Lego Star Wars magazine today - this was the cover mounted build. My official Shuttle Tydirium hasn't arrived yet - if I haven't taken it apart, I'll substitute the Leia and endor troopers then. Thoughts appreciated!

I love this! There's something about the simplicity that just makes me super nostalgic. The X-Wing is a great addition, and the perfect use of a micro ship. Now that you have a briefing room, would you ever try a bridge or hanger?

I like how you made one of the commandos black -- very movie accurate. I did the same thing. I can't recall if he has any scenes in the theatrical version of Return of the Jedi but there's definitely a black Rebel commando in the deleted scene where the commandos storm the Imperial bunker on Endor.

This isn't just a shameless bump (honest)... finally got round to building my Shuttle Tydirium last night, so could substitute in the new Endor minifigs before breaking this down and wanted to get a couple of shots of the new troopers + Leia hearing the low-down from Ackbar!
