Absolutely great project on Kickstarter for right angle and out-to-the-side minifig arms: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/crazybricks/crazy-arms-for-your-miniature-brick-figures

I can't believe no one has come up with this before. I've long desired to have archers holding their bows and arrows in the classic archery stance. LEGO minifig arms don't permit you to do that.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have backed the project but am not otherwise connect to Crazy Bricks, the company behind the project.

Apologies if this has already been posted on EB.

You need, Dark Green, Dark Red(crimson), and Pinky Purple for our super archers! Green and red arrows plus hawkeye (custom)

Or rather, they need.

It looks very good! What is a but strange are the little gaps between the arms and the torso which show sometimes. They even show in the video.

That seems more true of the right angle arm than the straight out one. I suspect that's because they use the same internal structure as shown in the video. If you lowered the internal support element a fraction for the right angle arm, you would change the angle of the shoulder's connection which should allow it to sit completely flush against the side of the torso. Shaving the internal element should be pretty straightforward.

Thanks for posting this. Occasionally I search for LEGO on kickstarter, but I didn't see this. Backed... Will be nice to have proper archers.

It hasn't been well publicised which is a shame because it's a great idea. I only came across it by chance.

At the time of writing, it needs to get at least 70 more backers in the next 54 hours. I really hope it makes it.

See I saw about this project weeks back and thought "doesn't do me any good if there isn't a dark green" and I wasn't even thinking Green Arrow - I was thinking

Eeeexcellent.

Awesome, glad to see this project has made it. I would definitely love to have some of these!

Dark brown, reddish brown, dark tan and black would be great colors to add. I would really like those, at least,

though I don't know which ones you already have right now, but those would be useful for a plethora of different minifigures

and aren't overly specific. Medium flesh (or whatever the color of the LEGO Tonto minifigure's arms may be) would be nice for Indians.

I did $30, so I think I get six pairs... I don't know which colors to get.... LOTR Elves? CMF Elves? (I have a small army of those, so it seems better).... tough decisions.

Since we have four+ months to go anyway, hoping we can buy a large variety online afterwards.

Good Observation and a good idea for a solution. I hope someone writes a review on this soon.
