[WIP] Supra Yacht - NXT boat

Good day everybody and let's continue with the boat mania!!!

Today I would like to post my experimental NXT project- The Supra Yacht.

It uses two Nxt motors for propulsion , but I disn't tested the propulsion system yet.

It is built on top of two 1l plastic water bottles , and all electronics are on top.Because every NXT component is on the rear of the boat I built a long mast on the front for maintain the balance. The mast is connected to one Nxt motor.

You will definitely need to gear up the motors. (The nxt motors can handle it, don't worry.) Maybe add a lego made propeller.

What is the bit on the front that whips up quickly, is this some kind of fishing rod device? Looks like you should be able to attach a hook and line and potentially hook yourself a decent fish when he bites!

But that is not the question I asked? I can see it's a speedboat. I'm more interested in the long bit controlled by the front stepper motor

Yes I actually want to make that because in Alicante there are some pretty fun little fish to who my family feeds every time we have some spare bread.I'll post some pictures of that later.Now I'm working on the boat.(On the gearing up ,and the fishing device.

I'll add to the boat the flag ,name and the avatar of everybody who helped or given an idea to me for this boat.

Currently I'm going to put :Canada,Netherlands,United Kingdom,Spain and the respective names and avatars:NXT45, VFracingteam and paul_delahaye.

Here I have a little update:

A buoyancy test!

At the moment it doesn't has propellers so it doesn't moves.

I've added one Power Function battery box to front for having stability.
