How to de-attach turn table?

is there any safe and easy way to disband turntables?

try to 'push' the rotating piece up with something under it. works fine for me. and LEGO is pretty strong so breaking won't happen often.

Thumbnail under the grey section and off it pops. The hard part is spotting where it went/avoiding flinging it across the room in the first place!

If your thumbnails are too short, you can also use the axle part of the brick separator to pop it out.

Thx for the replies! After you said it shouldn't break I found very easy way to do it. I used "wooden sticks" (no idea what's name in English - photo below).

My theory was like - the stick will break sooner then brick :)

So I just put it in the center and push it with brick. 90% of turntables went out :) Only 1 piece "stuck" and was breaking every "wooden stick".

So my theory is working :) Can't damage bricks with that and it works :)
