Hinckley Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Oh, and I'd be stupid enough to make my fake scum act like my own allies right? If you had both misinterpreted my post or went off of what he thought it meant... Look, Pudding, why don't you compare the word-for-word account of the doing on the writeboard the scum sent me to with your own? And with Agnar's if you have a link to it? Look for discrepancies and things like that. See if my account has the ring of truth. Do something other than shout at me. Who is shouting? The other assumption Dar makes, as well as the Scum team–according to Lodmund–is that when I mention Duvors I am talking about him as the original three I knew about who contacted Jarl. For Dar or the Scum to jump to the conclusion that talking about Lodmund meant he was one of the three (who I never said were fake claims) was for them (and Dar) to know that only three people contacted the Scum. That's a rambling sentence. To be more concise, the Scum (in Lodmund's telling of his writeboard) and Dar seem to be all working off of the same incorrect assumptions about what I was saying.

Dannylonglegs Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Ragnarok 3: ghost town ... Just sayin ... Spooky.
Tariq j Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Why? None of you will believe it's real anyway. Ech, fine, I'll do it. Me: Hey, is this for real or are you trying to catch a traitor unawares? Jarl: Nope, it's for real. Sorry if this spoils everything. Me: No, I'm fine. This is the best way for you guys to contact the traitor. But he'd have to verify you first wouldn't he? Jarl: The other scummos said that this was the best way. I'm the scum killer and I killed Palathadric. My kill will now pass to the next guy. Not certain how to convince the traitor that I'm for real, but they'll know by tomorrow. Me: The Traitor won't be able to wait that long. Jarl: Yeah. The scum will have trouble trusting the traitor, all I do is give them his name and see if they want to contact him. Me: When do you think he'll appear? Me again: Have to go away for a while, don't trust anyone who contacts you. Jarl: Okay, I'll have three hours to wait for the traitor to come along. Me(some time later): I don't have much time left so I'll tell you this now: I am the traitor. Jarl: I guessed that. I'll send this and any counterclaims to the scum. If you're telling the truth this'll work out just dandy. Keep playing as you are. Jarl again: Here's the link to contact the scum with, password is 'lord' (insert now disabled link here). Well either this is fake or the scum team are an absolute mess, I'm surprised Jarl believed you so easily and told you all his actions before you told him you were the traitor. Surely there must be more to this conversation? As far as I am concerned my vote is staying with you. Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors)
Chromeknight Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Is it wrong of me to wait until he proclaims he's scum and appeals for the traitor to come forward? Or have they worked out there isn't one? THERE.IS.NO.TRAITOR. THERE.NEVER.WAS.A.TRAITOR.AND.THERE.NEVER.WILL.BE.A.TRAITOR. SHUT.UP.ABOUT.THE.BLOODY.TRAITOR. Ah. Carry on then. Vote:Lodmund (Lord Duvors)
Dragonfire Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Well, all I can say is that I made an incorrect assumption of Pudding's post and developed a theory based on that. Have you considered the possibility that Lodmund read my post and decided to frame me by having the "Scum" make the same assumptions? I'm surprised Jarl believed you so easily and told you all his actions before you told him you were the traitor. Actually, you make a good point here. It's very coincidental that Jarl tells you who he killed before you claimed. Supposing you, or you and Jarl together, added that to your fabricated conversation to mislead the town as to the Night One kills? By "you", I mean Lodmund, not Tarr.
Lady K Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Lodmund seems to be digging himself deeper with each post. From the beginning these two post just haven't sat right with me. THERE.IS.NO.TRAITOR. THERE.NEVER.WAS.A.TRAITOR.AND.THERE.NEVER.WILL.BE.A.TRAITOR. SHUT.UP.ABOUT.THE.BLOODY.TRAITOR. A bit strong of a response don't you think? Because the entire thing was prompted by a bloody stupid conversation between Brand, Tarben, Pudding-Head, and myself on day one where Brand accused Tarben of being a traitor based on some silly comments he made before the game and it would've died with him on that day if Mist hadn't brought it up on day two. The possibility of a traitor is always there in every game. Mist brought it up Day 2 because I was suspicious of her from her stranger than normal strange behavior for her seemed to be of that of a traitor trying to get the attention of the scum team. However with these two responses and with all the trouble you have had with the Jarl and whiteboard issues, I think it is pretty obvious that either you are the traitor (now joined with the scum) or you were scum to begin with. Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors)
CMP Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Between seeming really sure of himself when it comes to the traitor and a lot of confusing and contradictory statements, I'll be glad to Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors). Is it wrong of me to wait until he proclaims he's scum and appeals for the traitor to come forward? I know, I'm just waiting for it.

But seeing you choose this as your defense makes me more confident in my Scum-read of you.
Dragonfire Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 No, I hadn't considered that. But seeing you choose this as your defense makes me more confident in my Scum-read of you. You're entitled to your own opinion, but just in interest, why does it make you more confident? Is it because you think I am Lodmund's buddy, or what? The possibility of a traitor is always there in every game. Mist brought it up Day 2 because I was suspicious of her from her stranger than normal strange behavior for her seemed to be of that of a traitor trying to get the attention of the scum team Wait what?? Are you saying that Mist brought up the possibility of a traitor because you were suspicious of her?!

TrumpetKing Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 That, ladies and gentlemen, is the exact link that Jarl gave me. It leads exactly where the link in my PM with him does. I'm so happy about figuring out how to do that that I'm going to do it again: http://123.writeboar...5iq5fcjki1k108l Yeah, that link is missing, as everyone else has already acknowledged. Why? None of you will believe it's real anyway. Ech, fine, I'll do it. Me: Hey, is this for real or are you trying to catch a traitor unawares? Jarl: Nope, it's for real. Sorry if this spoils everything. You're being awfully friendly with the scum here. This is just an uncomfortable mess at this point.

Tariq j Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Yeah, that link is missing, as everyone else has already acknowledged. You're being awfully friendly with the scum here. This is just an uncomfortable mess at this point. This is what I'm saying... The conversation just seems too perfect, if that makes sense. Jarl just happens to reveal everything that the scum want to do to the traitor plus his part in the game, he then has no suspicions when you claim traitor? All too good to be true basically.
Ranger of the Forest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors) It’s hard to find anything new to say here. You’ve done nothing but make yourself look more scummy with every post. You unvoiced a person who admitted to being scum. You failed to provide a working link to your supposed writeboard, which makes it seem like you made the whole thing up in an attempt to clear yourself. Your conversation with Jarl does not seem realistic at all, and is most likely fake. Furthermore, you seem to have given up trying to defend yourself. I find it hard to believe that a townie would just quit like this. I’ve been on the road the past few days with limited WiFi so I haven’t been able to follow along or post at all. But since I now have full internet access, this shouldn’t be a problem.
MagPiesRUs Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Vote Count Lodmund (Lord Duvors): 14 votes (Dragonfire, Piratedave, Adam, Hinckley, KingoftheZempk, Pandora, Jackjonespaw, Trumpetking, Dannylonglegs, Tariq j, Chromeknight, Lady K, CallMePie, RangeroftheForest) Kapmaud (KingoftheZempk): 1 vote (Lord Duvors) With 14 votes, Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors) has been convicted. A conclusion to the day will be posted shortly. It is now night. You have 24 hours to send in your night actions.
MagPiesRUs Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors) stepped forward, having been found guilty of consorting with the enemy. As the sun began to set, the crew gathered to execute the stubborn dwarf. "You can't kill me!" Lodmund protested, "I'm the only one who knows how to forge weapons on this boat. Without me, you won't be able to craft a thing! Why, just now, I have an idea for a magnificent axe in my head..." Before he could finish, Kára swung an axe of her own into his head. Lodmund was finished. Kára turned to her remaining crew, "I know this is a bloody business, but it will soon be over. In a few days, we should reach Valhalla and start our lives anew! Keep rowing!"
