Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 He deserved time to answer before I cast my vote. The answer was shit so ... Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors) Not my fault if the truth is stupid.
Hinckley Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Not my fault if the truth is stupid. If you're only defense is that you're stupid and you have no other insight to offer about the game then I'm afraid you're dooming yourself to be lynched here.
Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I've just been going over the previous threads looking at Kapmund's posts. And I must say, as far as I can tell his posts have tended to be fluffy, statements of the obvious, or parroting other people. He has said some seemingly helpful things, but these seem mostly to be on the lines of pushing people into voting for someone. I could be very wrong about this, he did vote for Mist on day two, at least I think he did, but as I remember that wasn't really a very big thing that day as most people where going after Jarl, especially after he admitted being scum so it could've been a 'just in case' vote to establish innocence in case Mist was killed later. This isn't the bets case that has ever been made, but it's the best I've got. And I don't care if it looks like I'm just trying to throw suspicion off myself. Vote: Kapmund (KingoftheZempk)
Piratedave84 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Not my fault if the truth is stupid. you're .... nevermind ... You can't keep saying things are stupid and pass that off as a defence ... You sound like the other scummos who gave up ...
Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 you're .... nevermind ... You can't keep saying things are stupid and pass that off as a defence ... You sound like the other scummos who gave up ... Fine, I hadn't spoken to Agnar in a while at that point and I thought that she might've had more luck with the scum. For some reason I thought that if that was the case then my revealing this stuff in the open would somehow mess that up. Don't ask me, I don't understand why I thought that either.
Adam Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Alright everyone, Lodmund is scum. The first time I asked him for a Writeboard link, he sent me the link to his EB conversation with Jarl, which he knew I wouldn't be able to access. Next, he sent me the Writeboard URL with the word "missing" at the end of it. Just now, he's sent me a broken Writeboard link. He's claiming this is the link Jarl gave him, but that's straight-up just not possible. A Writeboard link goes 123.writeboard.com/randomletters, where "randomletters" is exactly what you think it is. A bunch of random letters and numbers. The link Lodmund sent me didn't even have the ".com" in it, and it had an ellipsis in between the numbers. If it's legal, and if anyone wants to see the nonsense link that he sent me, toss me a potato. I've also repeatedly asked Lodmund whether or not Jarl gave him anything else alongside the link. I was trying to get him to reveal the password to his Writeboard. For the uninitiated, a Writeboard has two components, the link to the chatroom itself along with a password to gain access to the chatroom. After prompting, Lodmund said that he'd received nothing besides the link. I'm guessing he didn't know that Jarl had sent Pudding Head and I working links with passwords attached to them. Lodmund, if you're town, which I seriously doubt, then send me the link. The actual link, whether it takes me to a page or not. Send me the password (which I'm guessing you'll make up). Otherwise, everything about this reads stalling scum. A scum who made a desperate attempt to save Mist, his scum partner, and who's been trying to make up for the fact that he doesn't have the Writeboard he claimed he had. Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors)

Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors) The board will reduce URLs with the ellipsis but the "missing" and the absence of .com is rather ludicrous. If he was Scum, why wouldn't he actually look at the writeboard addresses? But if he's not Scum why would he fake this? Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors) Look at me! I'm on my phone and I made it bold.
KotZ Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 So, the two of you are just filing official complaints but not voting, is that right? I was merely asking, or filing a complaint as you put it, and waiting for him to explain more to me. Seeing as he didn't answer me, he replied with a question, I'm going to cast my vote now. Vote: Lodmund (Lord Duvors) I've just been going over the previous threads looking at Kapmund's posts. Vote for me. As for what I've said, it's difficult to say things or bring up other ideas when people say them before you, so repeating somewhat becomes what happens. I stated as such a little earlier, I believe either yesterday or the day before. Your vote, in my opinion, is just a way to find other people to throw their weight behind you and save your skin to kill more tonight and give your scum buddies time to regroup and formulate a better battle strategy than what you have been doing today. It may be the best case you've got but you're right, it does look like you want suspicion off yourself.

That's what you wanted, I'm sorry, I thought that you wanted to know if he gave me any extra information. The password he gave me was 'lord'. Lodmund, if you're town, which I seriously doubt, then send me the link. The actual link, whether it takes me to a page or not. Send me the password (which I'm guessing you'll make up). It may be the best case you've got but you're right, it does look like you want suspicion off yourself. Two things 1) Scum buddies ... How many scums do you think there are ... I don't think there's much regrouping going on at this point, certainly not after we lynch a 4th one today 2) Why in the world would you validate his vote for you ...
Hinckley Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Actually no, I didn't know anything of the sort. I don't really know how this stuff works. Or click the link from his original message and copy the URL directly from the address bar. If you copy the board's truncated version, that is what it will treat the URL as. You need the original link. Obviously, quoting Jarl is against the rules but if you follow his original link, you should be able to copy the full URL.
Pandora Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 The answer to the first one is that I was being stupid, and the answer to the second is that I don't know any more than you. Thank you for these answers, brief thought they are, but it seems you'd rather give the answer to my first question to someone else: Fine, I hadn't spoken to Agnar in a while at that point and I thought that she might've had more luck with the scum. For some reason I thought that if that was the case then my revealing this stuff in the open would somehow mess that up. Don't ask me, I don't understand why I thought that either. That might sound reasonable if you had PMed Agnar to ask whether or not to reveal the information around your apparent wb in public (or whether you should wait until the next day), but I would hope that Agnar would have stated as such publicly if had happened. As for what I've said, it's difficult to say things or bring up other ideas when people say them before you Are you saying you have no original thoughts whatsoever? Your vote, in my opinion, is just a way to find other people to throw their weight behind you and save your skin to kill more tonight and give your scum buddies time to regroup and formulate a better battle strategy than what you have been doing today. It may be the best case you've got but you're right, it does look like you want suspicion off yourself. Aha, I see you can muster at least one original thought. You're saying his vote is an OMGUS vote? Do you think anyone wouldn't want to get suspicion off themself? If you're only defense There are too many things around Lodmund that aren't making sense for me right now. The report from Agnar that he has seemingly stalled in providing the wb link, coupled with the fact that it takes several rounds of questioning to get an answer out of him, and also his seemingly disingenuous comment regarding him not knowing what had happened concerning "the blocker"; all these things make me very suspicious. Vote: Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors)
JackJonespaw Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 You sound like the other scummos who gave up ... I'm expecting him to claim he's scum and post a link for a traitor to message him any minute now. There's definitely some fishy behavior from all the scum, and it's really not anything I've ever seen before. And I don't like it. Vote: Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors)

I have already said that all it leads to is a missing page, the only url you'll get from following that link is this:http://123.writeboard.com/missing Sorry, but that's true. Thank you for these answers, brief thought they are, but it seems you'd rather give the answer to my first question to someone else: That might sound reasonable if you had PMed Agnar to ask whether or not to reveal the information around your apparent wb in public (or whether you should wait until the next day), but I would hope that Agnar would have stated as such publicly if had happened. I did PM Agnar and ask weather she had actually had any success in getting into the scum's confidences, she said no. Then I asked if she thought I should tell everyone about it in public, but to be perfectly truthful, I decided to reveal it all before she responded. For the record, she said yes. Are you saying you have no original thoughts whatsoever? Aha, I see you can muster at least one original thought. You're saying his vote is an OMGUS vote? Do you think anyone wouldn't want to get suspicion off themself? No I believe that anyone would want to throw suspicion off themselves. It's a natural reaction. There are too many things around Lodmund that aren't making sense for me right now. Vote: Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors) That stuff about the blocker was real ignorance, stemming from the fact that I wasn't paying as much attention as I ought.
TrumpetKing Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Is it just me who sees this as fishing? I didn't ask for a name or any details about anybody. I was simply confirming a detail that I apparently missed the mention of. Lodmund, I reviewd some of your posts and it seems you are Really, really adamant there is no traitor when two confirmed scums both sought to have a traitor contact them: but then again ... is there a traitor? Here you seem to now think there is one: Pudding said earlier that there seem to be 2 personailties on the board; one eager to reveal details (Mist?) and another who was more coy. Your insistence there is no traitor goes directly against what 2 other confirmed scums said. Could you be the coy scummo from the board? In all fairness, it has been agreed on by the town that there likely isn't a traitor. Two scums aimlessly searching for a traitor does not equal the existence of said traitor. What is incriminating about him, however, is how he suddenly changed his mind, despite, like you did say, being adamant that there was not one. Alright everyone, Lodmund is scum. The first time I asked him for a Writeboard link, he sent me the link to his EB conversation with Jarl, which he knew I wouldn't be able to access. I am at such a loss for words right now with Lodmund after this. Not only in response does he provide a link that is different from what you described, sans the "missing", if I'm understanding this right, he was supposedly able to get into this writeboard initially. How?! I know I'm just repeating stuff, but that isn't even the typical writeboard URL style, how was he even able to type in a password to get in? My best guess is he wasn't and this was a sloppily made cover up. Vote: Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors)
Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I hpoe this works; http://123.writeboar...5iq5fcjki1k108l Yes, Yes! It Works! I found a way to post link Jarl gave me in public so that it actually works! The exact link!
Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 That, ladies and gentlemen, is the exact link that Jarl gave me. It leads exactly where the link in my PM with him does. I'm so happy about figuring out how to do that that I'm going to do it again: http://123.writeboar...5iq5fcjki1k108l

Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 The concern there is how long you went silent. No. Actually I get the missing page. Yeah well before that I actively stopped corresponding with her because I was suspicious. But I decided to resume talking with her after a while. So do I, that's the point. The link only leads to a missing page now no matter where it is or who looks at it.

Duvors Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Does anyone here know how to invite new people to a PM conversation that's already been started?
Hinckley Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Under the list of participants, there's a link to invite participants.
