Best track layout software?

Many years ago I used to use "Track Designer" but I have no idea if that is still out there or whether there is now something I can use instead that is better.

Can anyone tell me what the best track layout software currently available is?

I also use Bluebrick. Unfortunately it is Windows-only. There are other options though like AnyRail, but bluebrick is the most straightforward.

The answer is in the post literally one above yours No, it's Windows only sadly for us Mac users, although I think I got it to run in a Mono shell a few times. Definitely not on iPad/iPhone etc

I'm beta testing a new version that should be able to run on the latest Mono on Mac. But it's not there yet.. ;-)

You could use a remote screen control software on your iPad to control a Windows PC running the Bluebrick software. Run Windows under Virtualbox on the Mac. There is a way if you really have to and can't wait for the new version that runs on the latest Mono but it may not be as convenient like a native application.

As stated, not in the normal manner, but is is possible on a Mac thru other means.

You definitely cannot run it on a tablet (Apple or otherwise) for it is a PC program and not an app.

My workaround is to use VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/) on my Mac. It's made by Oracle and gets regular updates, and more importantly, its free!

You will still need to build a virtual hard drive with Windows on it, but, it gets BlueBrick working and that's the main thing.

Years ago there was TrackDraw.It had some flaws but I loved the concept. Unfortunately it's no longer being developed.
