Redhead1982 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 This is a sweet scene. The amount of details is just perfect. The white facade makes a nice contrast to the outside colours, mainly the greenery and the bright blue water in the canal. By the way, is the water in UK's canal really this clear? The boat looks nice, and it could easily be used as a floating house. Quote
coffeefund Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I like the boat most, especially with the rounded front corners Quote
Withacee Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Another lovely scene, snaillad. The whole thing just works brilliantly together, both the design and the colour combinations. Atmosphere reminds me of your, equally great, Studdington station. Keep clicking those bricks together! Quote
ScotNick Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 That just looks so great!!! And I really love how you managed to capture the British style in the build / the boat, the house, just .... everything! Quote
tedbeard Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Really wonderful scene and the building is delightful but for some reason the canal boat is what catches my eye. It may have more to do with having wanted to travel on one for years but I quite like it. Quote
The Indivisible Woman Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Fantastic MOC! I was at an old British pub right next to a canal the other day, and I can tell you this captures it perfectly. I especially like your roofing techniques on both the building and boat, and the plantlife. Quote
snaillad Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 Yet another masterful build by you. The work around the windows definetly payed off, they look great :) Beautiful! Nothing more needed to say. I like the boat most, especially with the rounded front corners Another lovely scene, snaillad. Since I've not seen a canal for as long as I can remember and they aren't any where I live I can't tell you what they look like nowadays, I'm more familiar with pubs! Quote
monsinjor Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Wow, this is so nice. I wish I can drink coffe there... Amazing work! Quote
