A figurehead is a carved wooden decoration found at the front (or bow) of ships of the 16th to the 19th century. Often it depictes a mermaid, pirate, wench, mythological creature/god, ... The Aim: build a figurehead for a minifig scale Lego ship. The Rules: - Only one entry per member - Custom pieces are NOT allowed (decals are okay though) - Only LEGO elements, no elements from imitation brands. - Digital entries are not allowed (no LDDs, CGIs...) - It is not allowed to enter an "old" figurehead that was part of one of your MOCs already discussed on the forum. - DEADLINE: 3 weeks, September 21st. 2007. - PRIZE: The honor of being the winner and the headlines of www.classic-pirates.com. Thank you :capn: It should be suitable for a minifig scale ship. But the figurehead can be larger that a minifig. Maybe that was not cristal clear from the description. I re-wrote that part a bit. Thanks Well, this contest was INSPIRED by your IDEA. A contest with the aim to build ONLY Unicorn figureheads wouldn't work that well I think...
