iamded Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) So, I'm trying to make an Agent 47 minifig for some vignettes, nd I am in need of some help, please. On the surface, 47 is an introverted character. He almost always speaks in a calm, formal manner. 47 is not without charm should the situation call for it, notably to manipulate others in order to get closer to his target. However in his natural setting he is quite reserved, usually seen alone. 47 is completely bald. ... The only visible sign of hair on his body are his eyebrows, which are black. 47 also has rather piercing blue eyes. A barcode is prominently tattooed on the back of his head ... listing his date of creation and series identification number (640509-040147). His facial features are quite imposing, with a long face, large cheekbones, prominent brow, and recessed forehead. ... he is slightly over 6 feet tall. He has a whit shirt under a black jacket, with a red tie, black pants, and black gloves. This torso would be perfect, if not for the badge. This torso would be perfect, if not for the tie being black. I've decided to use this head, as he seems to never smile in the games. Here's a pic, for a visual idea of what kind of torso I'm looking for. Thanks. Edited September 3, 2007 by iamded Quote
Shadows Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Is the red tie an absolute requirement, like a signature piece for him? So far, everyone with a red tie also has some kind of insignia, pilots and train people mostly. IF you aren't a purist, brasso the logo off and go. Suits are easy otherwise. The black ones seem most fitting to the character, despite that pic. I know I remember him in all black. Custom may be the answer if you're picky. Let us know what you decide :-) Quote

Could take off the logo and the pocket from this one for the general look, assuming dark blue is fine. But yeah, ultimately it's custom decal or settle for something less. Quote
CF Mitch Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) Personally, I'd go with the torso with the black tie. But i'm not experienced in decals so...you could give that a try ;-) The head you've chosen seems indeed perfect for it *y* Can't wait to see the results. Hitman on ! *sweet* Edited September 1, 2007 by CF WeaZZel Quote
iamded Posted September 2, 2007 Author Posted September 2, 2007 Thanks for the suggestions guys. Can anyone direct to a thread about how to make custom decals, or tell me here? I might see what I can do... 47 on! :-D Quote

Landlubber Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I'd use this torso And then just colour in the tie red. A permanent marker should be enough. Technically it would be custom but not by much. Colours and everything should look original then. Quote
iamded Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 8-| Damn, I don't think I have that torso. I've made a rough torso design, but I don't have any fancy sticker paper or anything. :-/ Can anyone tell me what kind of paper I need, and any specific printer settings or anything? Thanks. Quote
iamded Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) Okay, scratch that. I shrunk the design. I couldn't figure out how to resize it at first, so I cut it out of paint and pasted it in Word. I realized the marking up the top are in centimeters, so I shrunk it to just under 1.5cm. I had to trim a bit off with the scissors after I'd printed it, but it didn't turn out too bad. A coloured over the black with vivid, as the printer didn't do a very good job with that. A bit of glue, and there's the torso. Now, the barcode on the back of his head was challenging. I took a used sticker sheet from an Exo-force set, drew a rough (rather crappy) bar-code on a blank patch of sticker, cut it out and stuck it on. Thus saving me from having to draw straight on the head. X-D Well, the finished design is crap to some, but I think it's fine for a couple of vignettes. Besides, I haven't seen anyone else try this before. Now, how to do fiber-wire... :-D Edited September 3, 2007 by iamded Quote
JoeMI6 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Looks like a pretty damn good result here. All I'd want is that head in fleshy (if it exists yet). I'd also recommend equipping him with some brickarms for a finishing touch. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Sadly the only version of that head in flesh colours is black and has sunglasses so it's not suitable. I've gotta show my friend this, it's very good. Nice decal too. Quote
iamded Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 (edited) Okay, the Agent 47 fig wasn't too bad, but I was at a loss as to what to do with him. Like, what could he do in vignettes? I can't think of a way to make fibre-wire using Lego, without destroying some pieces, and the only other weapon he could use would be a knife. But that's boring. So I thought; "Who's a well known character, not really a bad guy, that uses lots of weapons?" Actually, I just thought; "Hey, what about Punisher minifig?" So, now that's what I'm doing, makin' a Punisher minifig. X-D Edited September 16, 2007 by iamded Quote
DoubleT Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Dont think many knows this, "Hitman" was created by a danish computergame company. So both Lego and Hitman are danish creations..... We Danes do have nice ideas he he Quote
Batbrick Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Your punisher minifig won't protect you from my stalking iamded! *skull* Neither will that Hitman! *skull* Soon, I will stalk you to the point where you become tired of it, and then......and then...............and then, uh............I will stalk you some more! MUHAHAHAHAHA! *skull* Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 O RLY? I think the Punisher and Agent 47 could take on Batman... or could they... hmmm... If I hat a gray Batman fig, I could make a bunch of vignettes, like a Batbrick vs Iamded version of Sinner vs Hinckley... 8-| :-P But that wouldn't really work, because my sigfig is neither Hitman, The Punisher or the black Batman in my avatar. Damn I wish I had my camera! And regarding my post about me not knowing what to do with my Hitman minifig, I have made a vignette with him stuffing a corpse in a box, like in the game, with a corpse laying on some boxes. I had the level "A Vintage Year" from Blood Money in mind when making it, if anyone's played it and knows what I'm talking about... probably not... :-| :-P Yes, Eidos made the Hitman games. Awesome. And keep a lookout for the Hitman movie coming out, based on Agent 47... though the guy they've got playing him looks nothing like the 47 form the games, which is disappointing. My Punisher vignette pays tribute to the many special interrogations/kills in the game. This one utilises a strange looking drill press... 8-| >:-) I'm also making one with a weight lifting accident... involving asphyxiation... could work with either Hitman or the Punisher, and I'm pretty sure it features in both games... I sure have used '...' a lot in this post. X-D Ded stalking Batbrick. :-P Quote
